★ | the boys were kinda buzzed after coming out of a bar - beer was prominent on axel, and bud was swinging down on a bottle of vodka, passing the stuff to axel every so often. but élie's reaction was so good it made both of them crack up. axel by far guffawed the loudest, clapping his hands and pointing at him while walking backwards.

i. xavier wobbled frantically on his snowboard as it sped down the mountain, both straps broke on his feet, he was going too fast to bail out, if he tried to slow himself down he'd be ejected from his board and fly off his board, and the trail was too narrow for him to make wide turns in an attempt to slow down.
"wh- whoa- ahh!"
ii. smashing into the innocent pedestrian, elie, who seemed to be simply walking inside the fancy winter lodge, he flew off of his board, pummeling the other to the ground, flopping over him and sliding a few inches on his face with his legs over his head before finally coming to a stop and flopping his feet onto the ground.
"agh...man..."
iii. he mumbled to himself, getting up very slowly, hoping his back wasn't injured. once he was upright, he pushed his beanie upwards so it wasn't covering his eyes, turning to face the downed stranger.
"oh my fucking god, bruh. are you okay?"
iv. he held his hand out to the other, peering around to see if he was alright.
"don't tell me i broke somethin'."

i. while it may be difficult to make out exactly what he was singing due to his screeching high-pitched, loud vocals, trust me, that's what he's saying.
ii. as he screamed this into the microphone, he ripped his guitar off of the strap around his shoulder and gripped the guitar by the neck, flinging it as hard as he could into one of the amps behind him, causing a loud squeal to emit from the amp.
iii. vince and the rest of the band proceeded to spend the next ten minutes ruthlessly destroying the stage, their equipment, and their instruments.
iv. eventually getting tired, vince stumbled back over to the microphone. he knew he wouldn't be preaching to many. hell, he prefaced the show by saying they'd end it by smashing the stage so corey could get a new drumset, so quite a few people had already left.
v. out of breath, panting slightly, he began to sing a much softer tune.
"in the arms of the angel, fly away from he-"
vi. tripping as he tried to adjust his footing, he fell off of the stage, tumbling down onto elie, completely unconscious. while his band members seemed worried, the rest of the crowd cheered the act on, as if it were intentional, despite the fact that it wasn't.

this is the best starter ive ever gotten poor èl rip( / concerts weren’t exactly èlie’s thing, in all honesty. loud atmospheres and crowded spaces usually unnerved him and made his chest tighten, but he decided to attend this one since he’d heard that the band performing was led by elli’s brother. he was rather interested in what their music would be like because of this. elli and her brother must’ve come from a rather musical family. )
( / fortunately, by the end, the vampire was impressed; though he hadn’t left just yet, as he recalled vince, the frontman, mentioning that he and the band would be destroying their equipment as a final act. èlie was curious on whether they would deliver on that promise, and sure enough, they had ! how interesting. )
( / he winced slightly as a squeal sounded from one of the amps. damn, he definitely wouldn’t be able to hear much in the morning. èlie shook his head a few times to gather himself, then lifted his gaze back to the stage. )
( / ... wait, was that guy falling ? oh, he was, and right onto - )

( / èlie was cut off by the weight of the other man’s body crushing him. well, ‘crush’ was probably an exaggeration, but it still hurt like absolute hell ! )

ii. vince let out a groan as he stood up, pushing a hand against his back before looking down at the man he had just crushed.

iii. he was a little hard to hear over the squealing of the amps and the rest of the crowd, but he didn't want to scream either.
iv. he bent down and reached out his hand to the other, offering him a weak smile.
"anything broken?"
v. it was asked more as a joke, but he'd absolutely be concerned if he broke anything on èlie's body.
