Say, you live in Mass? I used to live in Framingham, myself! And since you're a kid trying to become a badass drummer, I have two songs for you to idolize and learn to impress anyone. Funny enough, they're from video games:
Holy Orders (Be just or Be Dead) - Guilty Gear/X/XX/XX: reloaded
by finishing that up, you'll have one hell of a tolerance for the double bass pedal.
Once you get mastered to the essentials of that song, you'll be ready for 'Pain the Universe" from the Legend of Mana OST. This is the boss battle tune, and i was stunned from how much i loved the music in this piece. If you can nail this one, you'll be ready for absolutely any song that comes your way.
Find the MIDIs on vgmusic.com, get a midi editing program (hint: search for "anvil studio"), and listen to the drum tracks. You'll be impressed.
