Hey I just meet your aunt Zélia, Gnomo´s Mother. She is at my girl´s painting class. She is a very good friend of Juliana ~fofinha and she said so many good things about you. She said I must get a time to go visit you and your mother there in US. haha.

We are planning to have some wine and cheese at her appartment. She is so Full of happiness. We also gonna see each other in Recife next week on Carnaval.

Hey I have a question... why your ID is CCALADO? Is it you name? Clara Calado? I love the name Clara, it's my mothers name.

Hey I went to carnaval in Recife but didn't take the camera. Actualy I was kinda afraid of been stolen, because my cam has an old style, so it's very big.

But don't be sad... I still have some pictures to publish and I was going to publish it yesterday, but had no time. Today I'll do it.

Thank you very much for the devwatch!

I think I may have a few pieces of advice for your photography.
First off, start reading everything you can! Find every general photography guide or even some in-depth guides on specific styles such as wildlife, macro, and landscape and just read. This is not the solution to everything, but it will help a lot.

Second, make a small investment if you seriously want to get into photography. The digital market presents a great opportunity for general consumers to get into amateur photography. Don't go for the prosumer market models though ($1000+). There are cases where you will not need high quality equipment though. ~khandura is one of the best I have ever seen and he uses an Argus, something even most amateurs would laugh at.

If you do decide to enter the mid-level consumer field, be sure to check out every camera before buying. Some excellent choices are the Canon EOS-300D and the Sony DSC-F717. No matter which camera you buy in this category (film or digital), make sure it is an SLR and is threaded to support filters. Filters come in handy later on, but they aren't necessary.

My final piece of advice: Just go out and have fun taking pictures!

I actually wrote a lot more but the browser closed and I'm just a little too lazy to write everything over again. Having said all that, I think I'll have to devwatch you.

Thanks again!
