Perhaps this tidbit shall be useful- I retrieved it from nfl.org and it's by-laws file:
Section C-Events: Definitions and Procedures

d.Oral Interpretation of Literature
βIf the script does not have an ISBN, ISSN, IFFN, or eBook Number andLibrary Name, the coach or the supervising adult must be able to show that the script was purchased or obtained commercially; ie. I paid for the paper that the piece was printed on...
Also, it turns out that the singing limit is only 30 seconds

... By the way, you might have to do a bit of digging. I've been trying to hold off on reblogs, nut sometimes it's really hard. (Tom Hiddleston is going to be guest starring on Family Guy)
Two posts address you directly, under your username of course. The poetry posts end right before the Ghost in the Stalls gif. (You'll never guess what I found! XD)

I'll shoot you an email then. In the meantime, here's a list of what I have found (or think should be recycled):
="The Crickets Have Arthritis"- Shane Koyczan
="V is For Virgin"- George Watsky (Remember This?)
="I Wore a Coin In My Shoe When We Got Married"-Sou Macmillan
="The Wussy Manifesto"- Big Poppa E
="SUPERHERO, BABY"-GNO, JASON EDWARDS, JASON CARNEY
XD
="Textbook Statistics"-Arkaye Kierulf
="Quietly"-Eireann Corrigan
="For the Young Who Want To"- Marge Piercy
="Marrying the Violence"-Marty McConnell
="Slow Leak"- Ellen Dore Watson
="How It Will End"-Denise Duhamel
="Dead Beats: Pavement Dominators"-Hannah O'Brien
="When Love Arrives"- Sarah and Phil Kaye
="The Nutritionist"- Andrea Gibson
="Hot For Sorrow"- Derrick Brown
="Song of Myself"- Nightwish (Read the entire thing, perhaps listen. It is beautiful.)
="Shake the Dust"- I forget... Don't kill me...
+++ Those are obviously poems. Not All can take up ten minutes, but that's okay. A lot can pair up... we just have to make an invisible connection reveal itself.
Have some prose:
+he Russian Sleep Experiment-??? We can make it work... somehow...
+The Utterly Perfect Murder- Ray Bradbury
+Marionettes Inc.- Ray Bradbury
*Pre twentieth
*The Sandwich Islands- MArk Twain
*The Black Cat- Poe (I don't want to do this anymore. I want to do the Raven and laugh about it. Somebody else can have it.)
*The Awful German Language- Mark Twain
*The Five Boons of Life- Mark Twain
I'm going to try to cut You Can't Take It With You, The Book Thief, It's Just a Jump to the Left, and One of Us as well. I'm not sure if I'll be able to, but I'm going to try. I think that you'll be able to find all of the poetry via internet. I'm kind of stuck on pre-twentieth. I know that there are so many fantastic authors, but few come to mind and it kills me.
... In my intro for The Raven, can I bring up how no one has ever performed it correctly, or is that far too conceited?

(i'm going to jump around a bit here.)
YOU WANT TO DO THE RUSSIAN SLEEP EXPERIMENT FOR A PROSE PIECE?!?! holy wow... i think that you would be the first to suggest a creepypasta for a forensics piece. firstly, it is published, right? i'm not really sure how i feel about the idea. on the one hand, it's certainly unique. on the other hand, i feel like judges wouldn't get it in the way that the performer would.
commenting on the awful-ness of the raven: i probably wouldn't do it, but i'm not ballsy and daring like you. since i know that you would be able to transcend the awful-ness of it, then i say do whatever you feel. may i have the black cat? some more pre-twentieth suggestions: a rose for emily, the story of an hour. FEMAIL EMPOWERMENT PIECES!
"shake the dust" = anis mojgandi. i wont hurt you.
oh, v for virgin... lulz to the max. "girl i wanna lay you down by the fire with a bowll of popcorn and watch fresh prince reruns with you."
and check out the curves on that parabola.
textbook statistics is SO CUTE. it would have to be paired up with some other poems, but it could be one of those cuttings where the other poems are broken up with a different statistic accompanied by a page flip. (you know what i'm saying?)
maybe it could be paired with v for virgin, and give it a theme of "unconventional love".
i'll look at the others later. you're sending an email with these titles, right?

Technically The Russian Sleep Experiment isnβt published, bit itβs a MEME. How can we not be able to? Do you know where I can find the rules? There must be SOME way we can get around it. (Heheh, I have a horror intro cooked up.)
YOU TOTES DO THE BLACK CAT GRL, BE FREE!
I just want to do The Raven to piss everybody off actually. I can only keep up the βnon-competitive goody goody letβs shake hands although I *explitive-ing* hated your pieces what the hell were you thinkingβ act for so long.
Iβm all for female empowerment. LESH DO THIS

well, a rose for emily isn't really all that female-empowering. murdering a gay guy, preserving him body, sleeping in the same bed with him for 40+ years... yeah...

Oh- if you ever plan on watching an anime, I highly recommend the American dub of SteinsGate. I watched the first five episodes during a screening at Otakon. Not only is it intelligent, it is also *hysterical.* J. Michael Tatum, who translated, took a few liberties with the script (while keeping it accurate) and added a couple of references we might get like Dr. Who.

sadly, i'm on a three-day college visit. in fact, i think the college i'm at on the 9th is drexel, which i've already ruled out after scheduling the tour. le sigh. i'd really enjoy hearing drumbeats for a solid 2 hours.
also, for some reason today, i brought up indoor guard in the spring to the mother.
"and you'd have time for that WHEN???"
yup. love her and that.
i don't miss jk wars. they were childish.
JK, i like being childish.

ha, college visit... yeah, im kind of at a loss when doing college stuff. and apparently im not taking spanish this year, it was either that or music theory so i chose music...
It's more than 2 hours. its like 6:30- to like 11. Band geek-fest.
Try again in the spring. I made indoor perc work with all my junk and you probably could too. besides, you'd probs only have 1 job by then (hopefully).
JK, they're the epitome of maturity.

i could lend you the fiske guide i got from the york library. it's this big-apple book of nearly all the colleges in the country, plus some in canada and the uk. i found it very helpful in narrowing my list of over 20 down to just 10! (and i found 2 that i'm for sure applying to. emerson university in boston, ma, and hofstra university in hempstead, ny.)
jk, the use of the word epitome makes your argument invalid because so many people pronounce it incorrectly (including myself).

JK, it makes it pure fact.

once we're in school and stresses of summer assignments calm down and we get into a more settled routine, we should talk about college stuff. i feel kind of sort of lost when it comes to down to it, and it'd be good to hear trade stories with my best friend.
JK, your arguments are all lies, Little Larry Lies-A-Lot.

JK your uniqueness has no link or impact. (debate camp this week)
But seriously...JK I'm not being serious
Also, you know the song Landslide that the Dixie Chicks did? Apparently Fleetwood Mac did it first. I still hate it though.

i read the prologue. i kind of liked the first female character introduced (for some reason, i really connected with her), but i'm assuming she kind of kicks the bucket (unless you have a plan for her... ooh, don't tell me anything more!)
i started reading the first chapter, and i liked the tone of the narrator. it kind of threw me off that it was written in first person, but i feel like you know what you're doing and that it will come in handy later. i haven't read the ENTIRE first chapter, but i'll get around to it... eventually.
