I've never used oil paint- i'm slightly afraid to use it if I'm honest although it'll be soon because I swear the paint keeps calling to me to try. I am a very very jealous girlie of your work- everything is seriously beautiful. xx

Yes, you should try it - I was afraid to try at first because I thought it sounded so easy to mess up and add too much oil etc, but it doesn't have to be complicated like that...you can often just mix the colors you want straight out of the tube and not have to worry about adding oil or other stuff and all the complications that arise from that.

Thank you so much for the advice, I just normally stick to my sketching pencils, pastels, coloured pencils and acrylics. I don't want to just 'get comfortable' in something though. As soon as you're finding something easy in art you need to challenge yourself I think. I love that edgy feeling when you're drawing or painting that you might mess it up but you're so lost in it you're sure you won't. Only after completion do I really doubt myself- well unless I've done something really wrong in which case I'll have thrown it in the fire o.o xxx
