Maybe you've contacted the wrong person? I don't know much of anything about makeup and close up portraiture nor the proper way to critique them. As far as the second critique goes I personally find that photo to have little artistic merit and wonder why you spent so much time on a critique of it. Is there anything in particular you'd like me to say about them? I'm not a critique guru of any sort.

It seems that you have stopped replying to comments on the piece itself, and I'd say that you have had very many people read the piece for you. I have to say you seem to put together images that you don't do as much as you could with. In the particular piece you suggested I read I felt as if very little was edited or looked at again and I cannot say that I particularly enjoyed it. I wonder from the comments I read if you are getting intelligible or intuitive critiques often, despite how much your work is viewed. If you truly want a criticism of this piece in depth and not just another compliment on your writing, note me and I'll be happy to be as real with you as I can. I hope your day is swell.
