A Ramble on Violence and Depiction in Narrative, -- Mostly But Not Exclusively Related to Rise and Fallβs Context
*For those still reading the current posted chapters, this journal does contain some spoilers*
I thought Iβd bring up my thoughts on this after a discussion on the topic with family and recalling itβs not the first time someone has mentioned it to me.
Β Β Β Β We live in a society where our stories are saturated with violence as both a theme and plot device. Perhaps itβs not entirely surprising, the history of human civilization is well punctuated with war/s and conflict. Furthermore, we get an addictive adrenaline rush from both action and the release of tension, and popular entertainment has firmly capitalized on this; I need not hold up examples because Iβm pretty sure most if not all of you can think of plenty on your own. And while there is criticism of this saturation/oversaturation, violence in our entertainment narratives has remained popular a!

I am a huge fan of your work and canΒ΄t wait when itΒ΄s all released on Amazon. The art and the story are perfect and absolutely fantastic. I am looking forward to buy the whole story. And Callista is still my favourite character. So I canΒ΄t wait for the next chapters.
