Well I'm glad you like the redux. I'm a little annoyed people aren't listening to my plea for it not to be faved. I didn't do the work. I just hope you're getting the traffic you deserve

Heyyyy Chris. Lol. How are you? How is life? Is philo on this Thursday or not? Life with me is good at the moment actually. Loooot of concerts and rehearsals. We have five and a half hours of rehearsals on Sunday. Blahhhh. Not what I need right now. And I have been trying to sleep this afternoon but my brother keeps demanding things. He's soooo annoying. And cute. I suppose most two year olds are. But grrrrrr. Sometimes I just want a big hippo to come and sit on him, for an hour or so. And then we can unsquash him afterwards. Mum doesn't seem too keen on the idea. Something about cartoon physics and the fact that he will remain squashed once he has been squashed first time round. I say, let's try it and see.

eek i didn't see you for a while ... lol depending on financial restrictions, if you want a notebook, get a higher-end (don't go for the slower options) macbook, or if you feel like splashing out on something really professional then get a macbook pro 15 inch ... if a desktop is what you're after, then i'd only go for the iMac, the smallest of the three models, but with the best processor you can fit. avoid at all costs the mac mini, mac pro (well those are like 3000000 pounds anyway), and anything which is "bottom of the range", it is worth paying a lil bit more now and avoid the frustration of slooowwwwness a couple of months down the line.

*nerdy smile*

well, you took your time!!! your brother got their first and is therefore better, i will ask him next time, ahaha!
seriously, thank you for the advice!! i really appreciate it. aahhh they're all so pretty... the mac book looks cute, do you think the smaller screen would make designing/painting harder? i know what you mean about the paying a bit more for better quality... And i just found out there's a student section on the apple site, yay!! cheaper electronic beauty.
I'll probably get one of the slightly-better macbooks, heh. My budget doesn't quite cover the professional one though. what do you have?? (assuming you have a mac rather than a pc!)

lol... i couldnt help but reply again... it is 3 months after though ...
tut... chris is soooo useless
yeah... i have a highend macbook... which you dont pay the extra 500 for the pro... but you get a really fast computer that does most graphics stuff . The screen although a bit small is really really really hi-res so its great for graphics

thegenome In reply to tigerzi [2007-02-24 12:38:04 +0000 UTC]

lol... sorry... i saw this on chris's page and couldnt help replying
I have a macbook... and its awesome ... it depends what you will be doing with it though. The higher end macbooks can do graphicy art stuff... but if your looking to do anything really massive you should go for the macbook pro... those are just the laptops though. iMac will do proper graphics stuff good enough
just check out apple.com and look to see the ones you like
but dont go for the bottom of the range macmini or macbook if you want to do anything serious
