Actually, you could also teach your kid to play the video game as a reading exercise. After all, the game's an RPG and relies heavilly on reading.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
...You know, as soon as anyone asks me stuff I'd like, I can never think of anything ^^u.
Although, since "The Monster" fics aren't getting any attention (because the Animal Crossing fic-fandom's small) I'd appreciate some feedback for it. (Namely for the "Ruby" chapter)

I'm gonan sound like a picky bitch but you got any non-fanfics? I prefer reviewing original fiction so I can have a look at the characters, too.

cunningcoyote In reply to Schemilix [2009-05-24 01:48:19 +0000 UTC]
Aw, it's not that picky at all. I half expected you to say that anyway.
Although it's a little old, I do have "Fissures" [link] The main thing I wonder about is if it's coherent enough. See, the character in it is part of a larger work I'm working on, and it just sort of tosses the reader in without any proper introduction.
Actually, now that I think on it, a word for "The Pizza, the Prophet and Me" [link] I'd also appreciate. Judging from certain feedback I've gotten, I get the feeling it reads a bit sillier than I meant it to be (it's supposed be just a little lighthearted).
It really was originaly just wrtten to help me come to terms with my own stuff, but recently I've been wondering how well it stands on its own. Does it work only as symbolic autobiogrphical dealy, or can it work by itself? (Plus, I have a feeling the mentioning of new religious interests reads random and wierd)

Alright. I'll check those two. Could you send the the links in a note so I can go through 'em tommorow?
