Thanks for the +fav on one of my Shostakovich-related pics! He's one of my favourite composers of all time (and I agree that Rostropovich is exceptionally good at interpreting his music - it's really fascinating to hear him talk about his experiences with Shostakovich), and thus I've done a lot of artwork involving him. I've never drawn him as a wolf, though, but I have as a fox!

hehe, yeah, i love rostropoviches playing, im currently playing the first concerto, but i sugest reading "testimony" it is a very good book

I have read "Testimony"; it was one of the reasons Shostakovich became a favourite of mine, even though it's not entirely accurate.
I need to get back to working on Shosty's Viola Sonata!
