so while i'm still passionately working on my round, its format and scale has changed considerably and to the point where reaching any sort of imminent deadline is totally improbable. so please, by all means, close the deadline and move on - i will still be doing it, if only for spec, but don't wanna hold your plans up or anything!

Quite frankly we don't really have any plans going on. So if Spec wants me to close it and move on I will but if they're happy with waiting for you, we can do so!

Well it doesn't get better if you don't try - biggest thing I've learned drawing these critters use an eraser I can't tell you how much my art has improved by drawing something keeping what I like then erasing what I don't like and doing those parts over and yes there a many times I completely scrub an image (I'm working on one now an literally have over 40 trashed images because I don't like how any of them look) so don't think you will nail it on the first attempt - sometimes you do but that is rare.
