Given multiple glances he figured that he should greet Pit at last. Since the battles long had started and he never really got to properly introduce himself to him. Whatever peaked his curiousity more was the wings on him. Personally he had his experiences with people and wings but they were never really any good. Reaching out he grabbed a feather from one of Pit's wings as he figured they had to be real. Or were they even real? The thoughts sometimes hit him that they could be fake and he was just a standoffish kind of character. Looking at the feather, he realized pretty fast they were not fake. In fact, he did see him fly so this should have come as no surprise. "I got a question..even if you're an angel...are your goals for peace..or for eternal pain..?" He wanted answers. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

[➸] Pit has had the fortune of meeting so many different people and creatures ever since he was finally invited to join the Smash Bros. Roster. This, in turn, however, lead to more than a few strange encounters. After all, no one can really be sure how to "properly interact" with beings like Bowser and Ganondorf and then turn around and start playing cards with a tactician, a round, pink creature that can eat nearly anything, a Pokémon, and a bounty hunter. Plus, it was always interesting when new people were invited to join the mansion.[➸] This just so happened to be one of those strange encounters. The angel knew that different people would react differently to his species. Bayonetta was a good example of someone he wanted to avoid because he was an angel. So, when Cloud had come up to him and asked a very deep question, Pit wasn't as surprised as he should've been, but was definitely confused. Although, the fact that a feather had been plucked from his wings did certainly throw him off.' Um... I've always fought to bring peace to my world if that answers your question? I protect all living beings from those who seek their deaths. Also, why did you pluck one of my feathers? '[ I'm Finished !! ]ugh, sorry for the late reply, but hey !!

He paused slightly before he looked at him. "I am sorry, i have for the longest time never really..got to know you well. We fought each other before..but i was curious whether your wings were just a decoration. Not a part of you.." He offered the feather back to him. "I hope i didn't hurt you." He responded then looked around. "There is so many creatures I never thought would be real..but they proved me wrong with just trying to talk to me. I was thrown off so much..i didn't say much at first." He admitted now looking back at him. "I hope Bayonetta isn't causing any troubles for you. I have seen her keeping an eye on you..and your friend." He referred to Dark Pit. The only character he didn't approach was that Dark angel because he doesn't know what to say to him. In all honesty, he was interesting, just like Pit but slightly darker in colour. "I didn't approach that other..Pit. Because he seemed quite hostile upon being approached by others."

It wasn't uncommon for Merlin to send his pupils off to try and fend for themselves. After all, a Keyblade Master in training needs to be able to adapt to all manner of locations if they hope to do their job effectively. He rarely told Kairi or Lea where he'd send them to, and on plenty of occasions, they'd find themselves on solo missions...and honestly, Kairi felt a bit of a thrill whenever she found herself being sent off on some new adventure. It's no wonder Sora was always so eager to go off exploring when the chance presented itself.
This time around, the old wizard had sent her to a strange place...at first she thought the clouds were just low to the ground. But she quickly realized that they were indeed no where near the ground...and neither was she. Merlin assured her that she wouldn't be in any real danger (beyond the heartless she might encounter), but it still made her a little anxious. Kairi wasn't afraid of heights, but the level of uncertainty was quite real here. Thankfully, the stone platforms felt fairly solid under her feet. A city in the sky? Probably not the weirdest thing to happen...after all, if a castle can hover in the sky, why not a city?

[ I'm Finished !! ]you have no idea how happy i am to have random starters dropped on my blog --[➸] Ah, Skyworld... Home sweet home! ...Well, at least to a certain captain of a certain goddess' guard. Pit was fortunate this day as it could be considered an "off-day" for him. Lady Palutena didn't have any missions to send him on so he was free to spend his time as he pleased. Of course, for as much as he just wanted to go spend the entire day in the hot springs that were held in one of the temple-like structures, his desire to not become seriously pruney and to stay ready for any sudden danger told him that it would be best to spend the day training and patrolling the grounds. So, this is why he found himself walking around armed with a Violet Palm. He had wanted to get some practice with the weapon and its lightness made it easy to ignore on his patrol.[➸] Now, despite his preparations for danger, he honestly didn't expect any issues to arise today. Sure, surprises were always possible, but what was the likelihood of one occurring anyways? Well, it turns out the likelihood was rather high because as soon as he turned the corner of one of the many stone structures in Skyworld, he noticed a female he had never seen before. Her pink outfit was quite striking to him and it almost threw him off for a moment. She didn't seem to have any wings, so the question that immediately presented itself was how she got up here. Knowing better than to underestimate any foe, as he had unfortunately learned from fighting enemies like Clobblers from the Forces of Nature, the angel flexed his weaponized palm as he slowly approached the girl.' Uh... Excuse me? Who are you? '

Kairi had dared to peer over the edge of a platform as she walked, thankful that the short wall kept her from leaning too far over. The clouds below were so thick that she couldn't even see the ground...if, indeed, there is one. The idea of a city floating in the middle of a void creeped her out a little bit.
Hearing an unfamiliar voice, she tensed slightly, turning to face whoever had decided to approach her. An...angel? She'd only read about them in storybooks...and though she didn't particularly doubt their existence - magical beings were nothing new to her - she never thought she'd meet one. And judging by his stance, she suddenly felt like she was intruding...which she technically was,
"O-Oh...I'm sorry, I didn't know there was anyone here."
She lifted her hands slightly to show she wasn't armed. While she could summon her Keyblade whenever she wants, he didn't seem eager to fight and, frankly, neither was she,
"M-my name is Kairi."
She answered briefly, and made it obvious that she came in peace.

[➸] The angel continued to approach Kairi, his blue eyes looking over her intensely. Clothes like hers were not common in his world, but he had seen similar clothing on some of the fellow fighters he'd meet whenever he'd attend Smash Bros. Gatherings. Noting how she was unarmed and showing that she meant no harm, his posture relaxed as he came to a stop in front of her.' Kairi, huh? Okay, how'd you get up here, Kairi? You don't look like you can fly. '[➸] Pit wasn't really the right person to judge a person's ability to fly or not. After all, despite his wings, he couldn't fly without the Power of Flight being granted to him and even then he could only be up in the air for five minutes. It was a bit embarrassing, to say the least. Still, that wasn't what he should be focusing on. Right now, he needed to figure out how and why Kairi was here and if she was a threat to Skyworld at all.

Kairi watched the other carefully, giving a slight shake of her head - of course she couldn't fly. As much as she wished that she could, she's perfectly content being on solid ground as well,
"No, I can't fly. My mentor sent me here as a part of my training. If I wish to reach my goal, I need to be accustomed to travelling to various worlds. Can't really do my job effectively if I stay in one spot all the time."
She offered a welcoming smile - she wasn't sure he'd believe that she's from another world, but she certainly spoke the truth.

[➸] Okay, that's honestly not the weirdest thing he had ever heard. He's been around a lot of questionable characters in his lifetime, so he's heard stranger stories. With a scratch of his head, he seemed to fully relax.' Okay... So, you're like a dimension hopper or something? Do you know where you are currently? '[➸] Now having a better grasp on the situation, the angel was now more focused on if he needed to help explain things to Kairi in terms of her new location, or if she was sent here in particular for a reason. He was kinda hoping it wasn't the latter because he was worried if some serious, apocalyptic thing was going to occur and his world was the first line of defense.

"Hmm...I guess you could call me that. I didn't come here myself...like I said, I was sent here by the one who's training me. But, to answer your question, no...I'm not all that familiar with this place...I only know that there might be threats here that only someone like me can deal with."
Heartless - Pit might be an angel, but Kairi doubted his world was free of darkness. Why else would he be walking around armed if there wasn't at least some hostile monsters lurking in the shadows. As long as a world as darkness within it, it has the potential to spawn Heartless, and these were the creatures she wanted to defeat. Plus, what better way to train yourself against such creatures than to fight them?

[➸] Kairi's words made the angel nervous. Was it what he feared? Was an apocalypse coming to end them all with his world as the epicenter of the chaos? He really hoped not. With a sigh, Pit gestured to the scenery that stood around the duo.' Well, I suppose I should welcome you to Skyworld then. Home to myself and the Goddess of Light, Lady Palutena. My name is Pit, I am the Captain of Her Guard. So, about those "threats" you mentioned... '[➸] With his introduction finally out of the way, it would probably be best to figure out what these so-called threats were. Were they gonna be as bad as Underworld Troops or are they worse than that? He's faced off against many types of enemies himself, having beaten the Subspace Army as well, so a new threat was equally interesting as it was intimidating.

Though she doesn't want to instill any sort of panic in him, she figures it wouldn't hurt for him to know these things. Especially if he's a captain. If the Keyblade War comes to pass, every world will be in danger,
"They're called Heartless... creatures that are created when the darkness in one's heart takes over. And it's up to people like me to keep them in check. Every world has darkness...and therefore, has the potential to create them."

"iii. he sent the angel a smile. after all, being of noble birth, he was strictly taught to be polite back in his world. of course, roy was always kind despite his strong battle skills.

[| This was the largest gathering yet and it was fairly exhausting trying to welcome the newcomers as he usually liked doing. After all, there was nothing wrong with being nice. ]
[| Even if it meant trying to be welcoming to a rather intimidating enemy from the Metroid series. ]
[| Currently, Pit had been lounging out in the cafeteria, getting his snacking on. The boy was an eater, what could he say? ]
[| When Roy had come over to introduce himself, the angel had been busy stuffing his face with an ice cream cone. It was honestly amazing he wasn't getting a brain freeze. ]
[| He had remembered seeing Roy as a bit of a late returning fighter to the last meetup, but he couldn't properly introduce himself back then. Though, he can't say getting greeted while your mouth is covered in ice cream is a "proper introduction" either. ]
[| The angel quickly licked his lips in an attempt to remove the remaining cream from his mouth before shooting a smile of his own. ]
❧ ' Oh ! Uh . . . hey ! '❧ ' You're Roy , right ? It's nice to meet you ! '[| Great first impression, Pit. ]

i. oh. he didn't expect to be greeted by a face full of ice cream. nevertheless, it did make the ginger chuckle a bit. he just knew this guy would be fun. he kind of reminded him of someone back home...kind of.
ii. roy tended to stick with the rest of the fire emblem crew, so this was good. besides, pit was as nice as he looked and the young lion was very thankful for that.
iii. at the angel's greeting, roy only nodded his head. his smile growing. even if it was a strange first meeting, roy wasn't unimpressed. in fact, he found it silly. here he was, probably gonna be as stiff as a board as nobles "should" act. but pit quickly melted his worries with his friendly demeanor " yes, it is nice to meet you too sir pit. "iv. pit probably didn't need the extra add-on to his name but roy couldn't help it, it was a habit that was drilled into head since a young age" you have quite the appetite, i'm impressed! though, i don't think ice cream is a proper meal. "

[| Pit was a little caught off guard by the 'sir' prefix Roy gave him, but he couldn't say he minded it. After all, it does have a nice ring to it. ]
[| Not wanting to continue looking so messy, Pit was about to wipe his mouth clean with the back of his hand only to remember the company he was in right now and quickly grab a napkin to clean his mouth with instead. ]
❧ ' Sorry about the appearance . . . '❧ ' I wasn't expecting anyone to come to say hi to me right now . '[| The angel shot the noble warrior an awkward smile as he scratched the back of his head. This is what he gets for eating like a pig in a mansion where several characters of noble lineage were staying. ]
[| Speaking of eating, Pit seemed to perk up at the mention of his eating choices. ]
❧ ' Oh , don't worry ! This was just my dessert ! '❧ ' I already ate a couple of burgers and some fruit ! '[| Pit, you sound like a glutton right now. ]

i. roy raised an eyebrow at the angels actions. perhaps he was trying to act properly since a noble was his company? it didn't matter to roy, as long as pit was comfortable. he may be a noble but he doesn't judge others for how they do things. at his apology, the ginger just smiled, shaking his head" no apology needed, i found it funny actually. and i'm sorry if i bothered you, sir pit. but please, don't feel the need to act properly just because i'm of noble birth, i really don't mind if you're just yourself. though, i would've been scolded. "ii. he noticed the angel perk up a bit, was he really that much of a food fan? it truly was an impressive sight, gluttonous or not." ah, my mistake! i've never seen one with an appetite like yours. really, i'm impressed! it's nice to know that you eat well. "

[| Despite Roy's assurance that Pit's behavior was fine, the angel was still rather embarrassed. Even Lady Palutena would've scolded him for his actions, or at the very least give him a little verbal burn. ]
[| Still, at Roy's question of if he could join him, Pit scooted over on the bench of the table he sat at to give the warrior more space to sit. ]
[| With a more cheerful smile, he patted the spot next to him. ]
❧ ' Yeah , sure ! Have a seat ! '[| Pit took another lick of his ice cream cone before he adjusted his seating so that he could face Roy a little easier. ]
❧ ' So , how have you been enjoying your official return to the roster ? '❧ ' If my memory is correct , you're a bit of a veteran , right ? '

"
" a veteran? i guess so, if that's what everyone says. it was a bit dull that i wasn't invited to that last two events but i didn't complain. either way, it delights me to no end that i have returned. i just didn't expect this many fighters, it's all so exciting. wouldn't you say, sir pit? "

'❧ ' After all , I never expected to see Ridley join the roster or even King K. Rool . . . '[| Pit suppressed a shiver that ran through his body. ]
[| Sure, he had beaten Hades in his world, but that didn't mean he still wasn't nervous about new threats like those two. ]

Again, there he was. Too cheerful for his own good and too annoying. "Where's your Goddess? Out on a stroll without a leash?" He asked pretty much making fun of him and his status. He was laughing inside. "I was just around checking if you were ready for a fight..but apparently not..since there is only the two of us out here in the middle of nowhere!" He sighed wondering why he was with Pit to begin with. Was he some kind of assistant? Not in his rulebook.

[ I'm Finished !! ]XD honestly, it takes a bit to chase me away. plus, dark pit is just one of those characters i expect to be mean to my boi here. so, we're all good here !![➸] Earlier this day, Pit had asked Lady Palutena for permission to head down to the Earth for a bit to just take a breather and see the landscape and people without having only five minutes to fly around and do so before landing for land combat. He didn't take breaks often, but with it being rather peaceful as of late, he didn't see much of a problem with taking a nice break to relax. Of course, with the sudden arrival of a familiar face, Pit knew that relaxation was going to be off the table.' Pitto? What are you doing here? '[➸] Now, Pit wasn't exactly happy to see him, but he still wanted to be nice until Dark Pit made a familiar stab at Pit's status as Palutena's Servant. As a pout appeared on his face, the angel crossed his arms.' Hmph. If you must know, I came here to relax for a bit and enjoy the peace beating Hades brought. You should try it sometime! '[➸] The angel honestly wasn't in the mood to fight at the moment. Sure, he brought his bow with him just in case he needed to suddenly needed to be called to action, but that didn't mean he wanted there to be action. He honestly was kind of hoping Dark Pit would either leave him alone or join him in relaxing.

He wandered up to him then just casually sat down staring directly at him. "I followed you, you moron. In common to you, I train everyday after i make my own decision to relax. I got plenty of time to relax after i got myself stronger. Then at least i know i can beat you up into chicken wings later." He gave Pit a smirk still mocking him for not being able to fly alone, but then again he couldn't fly either since he lost the powers he once had. "You have loosened up too much..and to be fair, you beat Hades. A long time ago.." He shook his head. "You're just becoming lazy. Flying around in the skies with help of Palutena then keeping your head in the clouds." He didn't care if he was harsh, it was true. After Hades was defeated, Pit did nothing much but silly missions back and forth. "What are your missions now? Collecting vegetables?" He stuck his tongue out. "...Palutena can't cook at all..and that's why you're such a huge glutton..eating everything in sight that is not made by her."
(Pff..i dunno where i am heading but it's funny.)

[➸] Pit rolled his eyes at his clone's words as his pout remained. It was always like Pitto to put him in a sour mood.' You know, you're not much better in the flying department than me... You need a goddess' help just as much as I do, only you're now getting it from the Goddess of Cruelty and not the Goddess of Light like me! '[➸] Despite his words, Pit really didn't mind Viridi as much as he did before she helped him rescue Palutena. He only referred to her like that because he wanted to seem like he had bragging rights. It was questionable if he did deserve bragging rights for that, though.' Hmph, well, sure, I may have to do quick runs for tomatoes or squash when Lady Palutena wants to try cooking... '[➸] The angel had to repress a shudder at the memory of the last time Lady Palutena tried to cook for him and the centurions.' ...But I keep busy with some important missions too! There are still some Underworld forces here on Earth and if they try stirring up trouble, Lady Palutena sends me over to kick their butts! '[➸] A smirk of confidence appeared on Pit's face as he flexed his wings, making them flutter a tad before relaxing them once more. Of course, his cheer came back.
