Love your gallery, brings out a very classic retro vibes that reminisces Francesco Francavilla and Mike MignolaΒ

Hello, I have a question for you . I see in your gallery many pictures for the comic "Merrick sensational elephant man". So what I'm wondering is, it involves fanart or is that your comic series?
Incidentally, you have really cool pictures in your gallery.

Hey, I'm not sure if I have written you before, but when I'm not 'steve noir', I do some mainstream directing for film and theater. As it turns out, Bernard Pomerance's THE ELEPHANT MAN is not only my favorite play (I've directed it 3 times), it is my favorite script of any kind. And I am familiar with Treves' own writing, and the piece by Ashley Montague. I even have the script for another Joe Merrick play, called "The Exhibition".
Anyway, I DL'ed your Elephant Man #1, and was really pleasantly surprised at how respectful and caring it was about the real people, and it is an interesting challenge for your art style.
I see you have a second issue! Good luck with it.

Thanks alot for checking it out, it's great to here someone with knowledge of the subject matter
approve. Alot of credit goes to Tom Ward the writer who has done extensive research. From theΒ
start we wanted to do something that was respectful to the real people and slowly build into ourΒ
alternate world, the general consensus is that we've done that.Β
We've got the first 4 issues funded through kickstarter, to be released by January/Feb, and it's getting
some attention. Our Website:Β www.merrickcomic.co.uk/the-comβ¦

Great! Good luck; there is a definite Alan Moore quality to your idea -- a bit of LEAGUE, a bit of HELL. And Alan Moore is obviously a great writer. But I think if you can get the right mix of pulp and real caring, then you've got something. Did you guys see the film MARY REILLY? With Julia Roberts and John Malkovic? It gets a bad rap, I think, because of Julia Roberts' reputation and a story/FX bungle right at the end. But I think that is one of the most passionate, entertaining and powerful Victorian fantasy films...

Thanks! I was wondering if you might be able to help me. I've been trying to find a little drawing from Mignola, of a stylized heart that I am fairly certain appeared in the Directors DvD of Hellboy with that little booklet called 'Excerpt from the Diary of Grigori Rasputin'.

I've just checked the UK version i have, it has a booklet but not the Rasputin one and no heart. Does it appear in the film? You might be able to screen grab it. Was it a "love" heart or a real heart?
