Hey up Phil, its samsung from the forum... that wasnt hard to figure though lol.
Your photo's are looking nice. Do you use a remote flash on the ones in the woods, or just a dedicated flash gun?
Cheers Sam

Nikon 70-200 VR... thinking it'll be amazing for both gigs and biking, and I'll finally shed the lens envy that I usually have at Fort Will! Until someone pulls out some huge prime and makes my D70 look like a compact!
How's the D200 going?

D200 is truly awesome. Feels more like an Uzzi than a camera on high speed mode. Only a few 'tweaks' over the D70 but they all make a big difference in the heat of the moment. Certainlly a good upgrade, although luxury rather than needed.
I've got the 17-55 DX, the 70-200 (either VR or Sigma) would be an ideal partner as soon as I have the cash. It's hard to resist. Either that or a super-wide Sigma 10-20. Next time I'm in the States, I'll go shopping

Cheers for the welcome! I'll be watchin' ya.
No, no! Don't tempt me into the D200 - I am doing a good enough job on my own. Problem is, it wouldn't be right without a 17-55 f/2.8 to do it justice! No excuses then, just my mistakes laid bare on the sensor

My masterplan of uploading a gallery hit a buffer just after I signed up...
If you leave a machine running Windows at night, you expect it to be running in the morning. What you don't expect is the boot screen informing you that there is no system disk installed!
I dodged the route of expensive data recovery with a USB enclosure - and only just copied my data before the drive went pop for good.
The moral is 'backup, backup, backup' and my 'disaster recovery plan' is now in place. Back to sorting the pictures for the gallery!
