why does age seem to matter so much here. it doesn't matter whether a person is 13 or 31 their work can still have the same original style and inspirational ideas. i wish that people wouldn't make a big deal out of how old someone is. don't think that i am getting at you - but this is one of the major things that bugs me about da -- that and people stealing art. ~greyrain s art is amazing, and you should respect them for that rather than making a point out of how young they are. just my two cents. sorry if i have offended anyone or if i completely lost the plot.

Thanks for the watch . Love your new featured deviation. Really sweet and swirly.. I'm gonna have to start making something like that in photoshop (see how I can be inspired by anything? Hi, I just checked in here (your agrument with *fisk led me here). I have to say that for being just a terrain your featured deviation is of fairly high quality... Not proffesional yet; but I think you might have a ton of potential in you.
Personally; I would have edited in the phantom... the way it is now just seems a little cheesy (not trying to be mean; especially with the tools at your disposal; but to me it just takes away from the image). If you did want me to I could still edit it with no problems (if you really wanted I could make your friend in it dissapear completely from the picture and you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at just the edited version >8^).
Don't read too far into the following... just read it as exactly what I'm saying (I only said that because of what happened with fisk)... anyway
your whole argument about god and all that; i didn't like very much. I'm partially an athiest (hard to explain in one of these; i'll send you a note if you want me to) because I looked at logic. By nothing but thinking I've proven some very controversial things to myself about god. I didn't have to see a single thing to do any of it; I just had to understand basic concepts of science and look at certain patterns; and the science part wasn't even required. Anyway; what I just said; where I'd send you the note if you wanted me to... that's what it seems you weren't open to with fisk... his opinions were just that; opinions. And it seemed you were trying to push your beliefs and ideas and what you though is or isn't art and all that junk (used to sum up the whole idea of opinions; not calling yours junk so don't take it that way) it seemed like you were just trying to make him think exactly like you did... I'm going to have to say that if people were all the same; had the same opinions and all that... there would be no art. There would be no you. There would be no real opinions anymore. Basically what I'm saying is that before you tell people they need to believe in god; you might want to look at what that would do... it would basically destroy mankind as we know it. Everyone would start trusting god to save them no matter what; there would be no survivors of any major accidents because people would just sit tight and thing god would save them no matter what happened.
Ok; I think I've ranted and raved a bit... all I'm saying is accept the fact that other people have opinions too. Don't start a war if someone thinks differently than you; because if no one ever thought differently than what was popular we'd still be listening to classical music walking around art museums with nothing but leonardo da'vinci style paintings while sipping wine or water.
C'ya; btw; I will send you that message about logic and god if you want me to; BUT ONLY IF YOU WANT ME TO.

It's interesting you react so strongly, first of all, I haven't even read your poem, so all that was imagination, all I did was diss your "Jesus loves you" comment. Because to me, that's just like saying: "Batman loves you", or "Santa Claus loves you" ; just like last time you're reading things into what I write. You may very well believe in God, Jesus and the easterbunny for all I care, but going around trying to push your belief on someone else is just a bit off.
I wonder what you read into this text now, perhaps this time I've insulted your great grandcousin Leonard?, And you wish a duel in the sunset? ... *smiles*, you're cute though, I give you that.

I don't know how you managed to twist the words I wrote to making them into "me telling you what art is", but hey; if you can manage to diss someone taking serious photography of something as natural as a body, you probably would succeed with that as well.
Oh and by the way, do you go around telling people that Batman loves them too?, Or is it just one fictional character that manifests in your mind?
Oh, I shouldn't be so hard on you, after all you're new here, and new to life, with some more experience perhaps you'll realize everything is not all in black and white.

I don't get it, first you complain over someone posting pictures of herself, very professional ones at that too, and start harassing her over "what this community is", first of all; this community is about ART, and to give you a little lecture here: Art is in the eye of the beholder, WHO ARE YOU to go around and tell people what art is or is not? Also you said something like: this is a place for TRUE TALENT, and REAL ART ; I can't really understand that doublestandard.
I understand you are very young (12 according to your profile), and that may well be the reason for your ignorance, but that is no reason for hurting people, and calling them "low on self esteem" and general ill mannered talk like that, who are you to JUDGE? , Everyone is ofcourse entitled to their own opinion, but walking around and claiming what is and is not art just shows poor manners. If you don't like it, why not just be constructive?, OR at least say: "This is not for me". Hiding behind "I'm sure other people thinks like me as well" is so cheap and cowardly. But then again, maybe you projected your own insecurity towards her?
Please stop writing people telling them what art is, because as long as you do, you only show that you don't have a clue.
