It's the newest (came out around November, I believe) episode with Cassidy and Butch in it- called "The Ol'e Berate and Switch." I actually took that screenshot from the Japanese version, though- the English version with the new voices makes me want to injure small animals. ): I've only watched it through once in English... their new voices are deplorable and sound absolutely nothing like the old ones. x.x

OH NO!!!!! They changed their voices too????!!!!! What is wrong with the world??? What do they sound like? Does Butch still have a raspy voice?
You know that's what killed Mai Valentine for me. Her new voice sounds nothing like her.

His voice is a tiny bit gruff, but it sounds very forced and unemotional. The old Butch sounded like he was a chainsmoker (not hating, because I loved his old voice, lol), but the new one sounds almost normal. His new VA is a total amateur. He didn't even bother with the lisp or slight brooklyn accent. ): He just isn't even the same person anymore.

And Cassidy sounds even worse than Butch. Her new VA sounds nothing like EITHER of the old Cassidys (Megan Hollingshead or Lisa Ortiz) at allll. SHE sounds more like a chainsmoker than Butch- she sounds rather trailer trash, to be honest. Her old voice had this lyrical, sexy femme fetale quality. The new one is like "I have 12 kids, and I beat them all before I watch NASCAR in the evening." Blah. It angers me, because I've always seen her as the smarter one between her and Jessie, and when they used to argue, she certainly sounded intelligent. Now she sounds like a dumbass. --;

That's terrible. I say if you're going to change voices, at least make them sound like their old self. Cassidy needs to sound intelligent, because she is the brains of the opperation, right?
