Today was quite the slow day; There were barely any people roaming the lobby, and even less asking her for online games. So, since she just couldn't stand sitting around and doing nothing, the AI had stepped out of the cozy little lounge where players could set up their online games, and out into the lobby. Multi stuck out like a sore thumb, with her rather large height compared to most players and overly-flashy yet appealing hair, but honestly? Attention-grabbing was something she always did. But, catching sight of another AI (as she was programmed to know from the start,) she ran over to them, smiling a bit. She didn't talk to most of them.... Maybe this would change that.

It seemed that today was just a laid back kind of day in the world of Cyberquest. At least to the girl it was. She didn't really feel like battling anybody today so she decided to take on a few quests. She usually did this every other day but it was along side a few battles with mostly AIs. There are only a few times where the magenta haired girl would actually get into multiplayer, much less interact with them. On the other hand, the AIs at least know of her due to the battles that she fights in.
She paused as she saw Kitschi there. Mavis knew she had to talk to him first before any quests would happen. Sighing, she took a deep breath and started to shuffle to the AI. It was a while since she actually talked to the raven haired AI so it was very awkward on her end. She continued to take small steps towards him, shifting her eyes towards another direction occasionally.

Noticing Mavis was not hard at all, she stuck out like a sore thumb. Turning to face her as he smiled and watched her slow entrance upon him. Though his brows furrowed a bit in genuine worry for the player? Was something the matter with her? She wouldn't even make eye contact with him so instead of her slow reach to him he took a few steps and was a couple of inches away from her.
"Hello Mavis, its nice to see you again. It's been a few days since your last quest and I was curious if you were here to see me? Though I really couldn't tell with how you were heading this way! Quite a lovely day isn't it?"
Tilting his head to the side he started to scan his personal database for quests. Finding them he looked back to her and blinked.
"How may I hope you today?"

She jumped, slightly startled by the sudden voice and only realized it was just Kitschi. Mavis straightened up and it seemed like she was acting like the whole awkward approach to the AI never happened. Although she appears to be all business in battle, she, in reality, is quite scatterbrained and nervous when it comes to interacting in general, even in the simple dialogue pieces in game. She cleared her throat and spoke in a clearly nervous tone but still clear on what she said.

His head cocked to the side a bit in wonder of her reactions but decided to let them slide since it wasn't much of interest to him in the first place. If that is how the player was, then it simply was that way. Pushing the weird situation out of the way he started to get down to business and smiled.
"Well, well! Aren't we bright and early today Mavis!? I sure have a few listings if you're interested, would you like me to list them or would you like assistance in something else?"
The AI said in a monotoned voice, but it was a bit chirpy as he seemed to love this part of his job.

The red head felt a bit more relaxed when the male didn't ask about her awkward... Tendencies. To her, the AIs were a bit more relieving to be around due to their scripted dialogue and they didn't have much of unexpected reactions as real people. Needless to say, that doesn't apply to everyone. It was just a general experience for her.

She said as if to stall her response. She thought for a slight moment before answering him.
>"I would like to see the quests first."
Mavis let out a more calm voice. This tone was definitely more relaxed and slowed than from earlier.

[T]he need to calm down their heart was getting more and more serious, even though they have been here a million times Apollo never really got used to the AI's and how real they looked. Everyday around 3:00pm Apollo would log on and check for quests everyday, something obviously with good pay or benefits.

Seeing Apollo was nothing new, he sees her quite often with her being the most active in quest taking by far of most players. This always excited him to see anyone return to him on their own leisure, instead of him coming to them. It was rather nice when he could keep up with faces when there were tons of new ones every day.
"HEY! If it isn't Apollo! Are you curious about the quests today or is there something else I could help you with? I am glad to see you have made it here safely."

[N]ot much of a talker, Apollo just fidget Ted and fitted with the end of their bandanna before nodding at the Ai. This was a constant rinse and repeat, Apollo really had trouble talking, though they were getting used to seeing the other, slowly day by day they were inching into a sort o comfort with him.
Nodding Apollo lifted up a old potatoe like sack that was filled with the items needed from a quest that, they had taken yesterday but got offline before they could turn it in. Though good thing the quest wasn't a timed one.

Surely you'd think he'd be disappointed that the most active quest taker would be the most quiet, but you'd be dead wrong. The male AI really did appreciate Apollo, it meant a lot to see her day and day out. When they didn't log in he would be a bit disappointed not seeing her, but not in them.
"AH! NICE! I see you managed a slippy road without much-needed help and I am glad to see you have returned with the quest objects!"
Honestly, Kitschi was programmed not to care when quests would be finished as long as they got done by someone then he could post new ones or give out more. Carefully taking the sack from her he returned to her a Bright white feather and 1046c in currency and nodded.
"THAT'S another one down for the books and more things I need to distribute throughout the shops. Thank-you for helping us AI's out. Some of us aren't really programmed to leave their spot so this really is a treat!"
Patting them on the head ever so gently he scanned through his database real quick and let his eyes fall back onto the quiet type.
"Seems we have more requests in today, would you like to hear them or are you interested in something else that I may be able to assist you in?"

[I]n the past Apollo would have smacked the Ai's hand away or even flinch away, but considering how this wasn't their first rodeo with eachother they usually just stood completely rigid. It wasn't really his fault; Apollo just wasn't used to most affection and easily discarded it. Having taken their items from the Ai and placing them in the invetory, the teen had finally looked up at him.
Sighing the player rolled their hand, indicating for him to go on and tell her what is on today's schedule.

Tilting his head to the side and taking that as an acceptance he pulled his hand away from the top of their head and nervously laughed letting the whole situation pass for how it was. Suddenly his eyes went still and then started to dart side to side as he scanned the system for updates on what needed to be quested for that day. Finding something he widen his eyes and then blinked looking down at them as if nothing happened.
"Alright, I found some listings today."

{ Find and defeat the witch in the dark forest or trade her for the 'Arrow of Truth' with a gold Toadoe's leg. Toadoe is a frog/toad-like creature that can be found deep in the boggy swamps. There are plenty, but the gold Toadoe is harder to find and more difficult to defeat. It will drop a semi-rare item along with 'Golden Toadoe Leg'. It is a difficult challenge, but not unattainable. If you rather fight the Witch, she is a bit stronger than the average Gold Rank Tier monster. Upon defeating her, she will give you the ARROW OF TRUTH. Something you can use on other quests or free time to force a 'player , AI or in game boss/monster' to speak the truth of what they know on something. Also if used in battle inflicts heavy damage.}

[E]yes widening at the quests, the arrow of truth was obviously the one that they wanted to do the most. But considering how Apollo was still a silver rank, there was the possibility that they could attempt the quest but that had a risk as they could possibly die from the quest and start over.
Though the second quest sounded pretty easy to the welder of bows, it was in their usual area of quests and didn't really seem like a challenge at all. This was really stumping Apollo. Having teeter-tottering the options the player turned to the Ai and opened her mouth.
"...what do you think I should do?" this was the first time that Apollo has never asked him a question before. They have also never spoken this much before to him.

The AI smiled at them giving the option of helping them choose, it wasn't a common thing for Players to do, but he appreciated it all the same and even valued those who didn't. Pursing his lips in thought as his eyes skidded to the sky in a meek attempt to look in thought. Closing his eyes gently he opened them and looked back at them.
"Alright, since you want my humble opinion dear Apollo, I think you should definitely go with the gold rank, I feel it suits your wants in the end. Being an archer as you are. Though, if you rather play it a bit safe that is okay too, as the troll is more of a common source of easy gain. Either or, you will pull off just find and you do always have the option of taking me with you on any of your feats!"
Putting his hands on his hips and his brows lift as he waited for her reply.

[H]eart swelling at the kind words that the Ai had just given them. The blond player had nodded at the Ai as they had realized his words and his kindness. Feeling the rush of kindness, excitement and much more positive emotions, Apollo lifted up their hand and offered it to the Ai smiling.
"it all depends on if you want to join me for this golden quest...but if you do....will you join me?" is blushing really red because they were trying to be like those cool anime hero's.

The AI's eyes rose in astonishment, of course, he'd join her! She didn't even need to really ask though, I guess you had to if you wanted him to come with.
"YES! Of course, Apollo! I'd be obliged to, I'd love to come with you. So can I take it that you are taking the gold rank quest then? I think we shall reign superior over this with quite the ease~"
The Eccentric watched her with slight interest, not understanding where her face was flushing up, but he just nodded and waved his hand towards town.
"We could stock up first if you wished?"

[N]odding at the Ai, they walked toward the town. Doing a mini checklist with their inventory, the player had 30 mega potions from nebula, and enough poisoned bows, freeze bows, electro shock ones...The only thing they really needed was a GOOD weapon for their Ai copanion.
Deciding on walking straight to where the weapons were sold at, the nudged him yo pivk.

IT HAD REN IN IT. I think I was going through random videos a year ago and I REMEMBERED HIM and loved his character. I'm glad someone knew who he was. I have no idea how people feel about RWBY, but it seemed to have some decent designs. True, it is mainstream though sadly there is barely any art of the dude. Must not be a popular character?? Which i'd find surprising since his personality is pretty great from what I recalled.It was between Lie Ren & Souza Samonji tbh. I just liked their eccentric looks compared to their cast.
