i'd imagine that if they ever got together jaune would actually feel really really guilty
because even though he was with his dream girl, he wasn't with the girl who loved him and believed in him no matter what
and the fact that he unknowingly denied her affections for so long and breaking her heart and then let her die just after he realized his feelings for her just.. is going to make relationships very hard for him

considering the fact that you know, jaune really, really wanted to help pyrrha even though by the end of it he got shoved into a locker and went flying, and the fact that ruby and everyone else tried to save her,,, all in vain, it affects him pretty badly.
and then weiss nearly dying pretty much sets him over the edge because 1, he already lost pyrrha, he doesn't want to lose another close person, and 2, they just got reunited a few days ago ?? not to mention weiss kinda just swerves on his advances since ep. 1 until like,,, now ?? it'll take a lot of time for him to finally be able to move on
donT GET ME STARTED,,, BECAUSE IT'S REALLY SAD SINCE THEY WANT TO REALLY MOVE ON BUT IT'S THAT ONE THOUGHT, THAT ONE MEMORY it keeps coming back
i'd be in for like anything...they deserve the best....and all i really want is to see them happy...amen

when jaune first sees weiss get impaled, i have this theory that he had like.. a nightmare flashback to pyrrha
for a few seconds, he didn't see weiss, he saw pyrrha, and that rAW EMOTION HE SHOWS THERE JUST,, OUCH
like he literally loVES weiss and he crushes on her like a goddamn middle schooler, but his heart truly will always lie with pyrrha, and he knows it - its gonna be really hard for him to ever be in a relationship but i honestly want weiss to help him through that, even if they don't end up in a relationship
