I trained as a ceramacist but have been working with mixed media for the last ten year as it gives me more flexibility. Hey sir, might I suggest you make fanart sculptures? You'd sell them twice as quick, there'd be a massive demand for them. Start with a Star Wars AT-AT or a TARDIS in the steampunk style, I promise great results. 
Also watermark your pictures, as they might get stolen and made into prints, you'd miss out on a profit.
