Well... we may have a political difference or two, but you played a good debate.
I respect that. And your positions proved you were not committed to convention either.
A free-thinker.

hey I'm willing to comprise, it's not all about me. If some one can come up with a solid argument and has a good solution I'm open to it.I don't really identify as liberal but a lot of issue that I feel are priorities, they over all propose a solid solution too.I like conservatives in the sense that want a more balance budget, but I would want to see that through efficiency, not by cutting programs that are helping raise the quality of life. example
The C-10 bill that is being passed right now, it proposes a minimum sentence of 2 years for even minor and first time offence.Up front it looks good, tough on crime and all that, not a bad concept. But when you look at the constantly dropping crime rate in Canada, all it seems to do is keep prisons full on the tax payers dime. I'm all for increasing the amount of community service someone gets, keeps the soup kitchens well staffed. It help that I've seen community service really work. A girl I worked with got 140h instead of a 2 months sentence. In the process she made friends with a lonely old man who happened to live in her building and to this day still goes down to the soup kitchen to have dinner with and pop a 10-20$ in the donation box while she's at it. A much better out come than caging someone up for 2 months(and possibly just teaching her new tricks).Hell I'm a strong believer in making someone wear a sign like "I stole a bike" for 3 months. It's cheap, the humiliation is a huge deterrent and for minor offences it's seem more appropriate. When you think about it going to prison makes you a "bad ass" but having a sign around your neck make you look stupid, which is very unappealing to your average impressionable kid.
