Hello!I'm a lazy medical student from the Czech Republic, age 23 (which means I no longer look like this^^, obviously).
I love music, reading, comedy and sci-fi.
I spend my free time with my laptop or listening to my music player...
Most of my drawing is done during lectures.
I apologise in advance to anybody who eventually comes across my drawings for the complete lack of any talent, originality or creativity in them...

My nickname there is also PannaVader, but to be honest I'm not as into the board as other boardies. You know, I'm there mainly to hear some news about The Chiefs and see the latest photos

I'm there for pretty much the same reason - I don't know any of the boardies personally, so I usually only sit in the corner and listen...
Maybe some day I meet some of them, when I finally get to see the Chiefs live.

I've met one of the boardies on Kaiser Chiefs' gig in Vienna, but she was not really nice - she told me that I was standing where she has her place and I'm pushing her, even though it wasn't really my fault, because it was A GIG and everybody was pushing one another. The truth is that she were actually quite rude, because that was my first Chiefs' gig and it was really important for me to stand in the first line while she were on their concerts more than 50 times I guess and she said she doesn't care. And even if I told her that I'm sorry for pushing her, she wrote something on the board about "rude people pushing her at the gig", what made me even a little bit laugh.
But still, I don't know other boardies so I can't say anything about them, and board is such a good place for searching the latest things about the band.
Oh, I wish you to see them soon! They've been in Poland twice (but I saw them there only once, at last year's Szczecin Rock Festival), so maybe it's not that far away from you

I always got the impression that they are all really nice people on there.
But there's always one person to spoil things, isn't there?
I know the Chiefs were in Szczecin, unfortunately I couldn't go see them anywhere - I didn't have anybody who would go with me.
In 2007 they played Rock For People in the Czech republic, but I didn't know them then.
And according to what I have heard it's not very likely for them to come back. It's to do with the czech mentality, we are cynical and say bad things even if we don't mean them just to amuse ourselves. Apparently when Ricky asked the crowd if they wanted to hear some new songs, the people said No and looked as if they didn't want to listen to the band at all.
Who doesn't know that these things are not to be taken that seriously, because we don't like to show that we like something and we diminish it instead, can easily feel unwanted.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now - sorry!
I hope I'll get the chance to see them when they come back...
At first I thought I would spare my first gig experience for them, but on monday I'm going to see Green Day in Prague. It's going to rain heavily and we're forbidden to take umbrellas with us. Oh well...

Well, I came across your Kaiser-drawings, so... only half a coincidence
I think, when the Chiefs are on a break, all the fans who know each other (in real life) use facebook and stuff instead of the forum.
Which is a shame, because I tend to watch what they write from afar, rather than to join in...
I'm sad I know...
Anyway, hopefully when the Chiefs come back, I'll have the chance to see them live at last, and maybe meet some of the fellow fans as well. You all seem very friendly and nice...

Hehe yeah I know what you mean - I only write something if I really feel I've got something to say.
Yeah Chiefs are amazing live - I've been to 7 gigs of theirs which I suppose is quite a small amount compared to some people. The boardies are great - you're never on your own at a Kaisers gig - even if you arrived that way. I've made really good friends through that there board. It's worth the effort of travelling to see them I think. Although having said that, I usually go to the Manchester gigs because that's where I live!!

Everybody tells me to go see them if I like them.
Unfortunately, there are many problems for me - apart from the fact that they don't play in my country (well, they did once, but apparently the people were not very nice to them...)
and I'm a bit nervous to go abroad on my own (I don't know anyone who would go with me), I have also never been to a concert like this before, so I wouldn't know what to do or where to go etc.
Hopefully, they'll come somewhere near during some summer holidays. When I'm not needed at Uni.
By the way, we could maybe communicate via the forum, instead of dA. Then I wouldn't feel so weird that I'm writing such long messages...

Sadly, they already have done - back in 2007. They almost got booed off (and they were the main headliners!).
They must think everybody hates them here...
I'm sometimes ashamed of my country's mentality. If you ask a Czech audience whether they want to hear another song, there is always a group of people who will shout 'NO!' really loudly...
