Haha! You are so damn right! Taylor is way too little and this wig looks just so stupid on him =( (Sad) . He grows... but his face looks the same, he´s a boy, not a man as Steven, oh Steven is a god! ^^ he would be so perfect!! But I guess the decision is made . Let´s hope Taylor will do his job well!

thanks, i dont have much up, the ones that are up are the only ones i think are good from what ive drawn, but i know my others are good, i just dont like them
haha its that picky, perfectionist part of me speaking lol
but i will be drawing lots more now, im gunna try to do one a week so i will have more up more frequently

youre really good at realistic portraits! i love your gallery
I want to start getting into different styles of art, one being realism.
is there any tips you could give me when it comes to shading and hair? it would be much appreciated :D (Big Grin)

yeah sure
the shading in your drawing of joe is pretty good
the biggest and most helpful tip i have is to always avoid outlines,
because people dont have outlines haha
make sure you stick to always blending your pencil lines
my portraits became much more realistic once i started using a blending stomp,
which is basically rolled up paper
doing this will really help
and also, the obvious is practice
ive drawn TONS of portraits and i have been for 5 years now
and i continually improve over time
just keep working on them
oh and for hair, use softer pencils, i use mostly 3B, 6B,7B,8B
and HB will not work out as well
go back with an eraser for highlights they always help make the hair look more realistic,
and for the highlights, blend the whitest part with the dark parts of the hair
i dont know, makes it flow more lol
well theres quite a bit, i hope i helped :) (Smile)
