I've never been to Sooke.. not even 100% sure where it is.
I feel like going up to whistler, to the lakes. It's probably astronomically expensive to stay there now though... too bad, very much too bad!

don't fear too much, I followed the lesson plan. It was "C'est moi!" They had to describe themselves, create a little poster and such. I realized how terrible my french was midway through class when I had thought "je suis 13 ans" was correct, and I had forgotten that it's "j'ai..."
so basic, blah...
i'd like to fix my fractured, dissapearing french.

Le meilleur moyen d'apprendre le français est de commencer par "c'est quoi?" en montrant un objet. La réponse est "c'est un(e) ...".
Ca permet de bien prononcer les mots et d'acquérir un certain vocabulaire de la vie courante. Ensuite viennent les adjectifs par exemple "c'est une grosse voiture rouge" puis les chiffres: "C'est cinq clés". Le verbe "avoir" viens ensuite :"as-tu une voiture", "combien de livre as-tu?" etc etc!

I think I know much of these steps, it's the technicalities of the language. I think the main problem is I haven't tried in years since I was starting to be able to know it. Now it's sooo bad... I'm ashamed to try.

wonderful thoughts though. I'm sure if all was well in the world for everyone I hold near and dear to me that would delight me. the betrayal is the one I hate the most. Today I got a trellace for my passion flower.... shoved it into my back seat and did an intricate tying job with my trunk. Only to realize it's a bit too small.. throws off the balance of my deck. merf merf......
maybe your words make me sad, because the sad thoughts seem to be the largest ones. a small smile, a broken heart. a good discovery, a deep betrayal.

what would to betray out of force look like?
people seem to do themselves the most damange while trying to crawl out of a pit of despair, rather than fix the problems, they distroy the good and tear everything down around them.
Do I seem sad? I thought I'd seem happy...
I'm glad someone out there thinks so.
I do smile.. but I like to really smile... really feel so happy and that comes so rarely - that deep gutt happy. It's all about love.

yes that is a good example, one where there isin't really a "right" or a "good" thing that could have been done... but I think that might be the exception. I think more often people embark upon a path that they know is going to cause mass distruction on the way... but you are right when you say it is out of desperation or something of the stort. I hope I never betray someone I love. I wonder if I ever have, I certainely don't believe so....

Sometimes you don't have the choice... you just behave normally and hurt people... Purposelessly (great word!)...
I once had a friend; we had another couple in common... this couple split and we had to "choice our side" in this separation... he was forced to side up with the guy because he housed him for a couple a week out of friendship... I felt it as a betrayal... For I choiced no side at the moment....
