Bitten by a radioactive pencil, I developed the power to draw amazing things but with great power comes great self-loathing!If you're here, it's probably because of comic-art, illustrations, or concept art. All of which are things that I do. I pride myself in my ability to draw in different styles depending on the demands of the publisher and story so if you see something you like or don't like, look around a bit more. I'm a pretty flexible guy.
I have worked in the past with some great creative teams, and more and more on larger projects so if you want a quote on a project don't hesitate to contact me, my schedule fills up quick :)

BTW - is on the faculty of a University in CA. He might be someone to talk to about how to use the gov't education grant.

BTW - You mentioned The Kubert School which is a little over an hour from me. I used to go to all their open houses to schmooze, network, and make technical observations. Went to the Saturday classes one summer. You might consider them, too. They expanded the program to three years because students were dropping like flies.
For the most part they (faculty and admin) never cared for my feedback unless I was praising them. But oddly enough, they took some of it and hired a real Fine Arts painter, Todd Dooney, instead of keeping solely to comic book industry guys. Made an immediate positive difference.
Haven't been back since Joe died. He was my reason for going.

I would love to attend the Kubert school but having a family (including a military wife) means this is out of the question :/
There are possibilities here, I am sure of it.. this is an artist hub and home of SDCC.. SURELY there is a school here that has half a wit to use that and teach quality sequential art/illustration..
I will be looking more closely at SDSU and a few other places but I'm hoping for insight from professionals who know the schools in the area. That might be a tall order to fill though :/

New York is coming up in October, Chicago i actually in three weeks time, and there should be some more in the horizon. Also, MegaCon in Orlando at the beginning of next year is always good, as well as Heroes in North Carolina.
