Nice work. Enjoyed the spiders a lot, and the velvet ant. I only just saw / shot my first one of them this past spring. We seem to shoot a lot of the same sorts of things - only you actually shoot photos of people it seems. Something I have been avoiding for some reason.

If you ever get stuck on the twinspan (or do it on purpose when they're working on it) heading back to the city, look at all the thousands of spiderwebs along the guard rails on the sides.

I live in the LaPlace area, about 25 miles west of downtown. I'm not a native... I moved here in 2005, before Katrina. I've been here since! I'm looking forward to anothe Mardi Gras.

Actually, it is my wife's book. I was unpacking some of her things and putting them up on shelves, and noticed the book.
I've met a person who has become a friend, who happens to be an art major... another friend mentioned that her art reminded her of Egon's.
So.. when I saw that you were a fan, I thought it rather odd that I had only heard of Egon Schiele a week previously, and now I was seeing his works and references to his works all over the place.
