I really wish I have more exp in 3d.. I am already getting into simple 3d with sketchU.. Nothing like you though.. do you know sketchU?

Well, it's all a matter of interest and experience; and finding the right software package you like. And yes, I know SketchUp, but it's more for architectural designs tha nanything. It's a good software to start with though, it's relatively reasy to use. You need plugins to actually render something though. As far as I know SketchUp has no inbuilt render engine.

There are different styles for a reason. Not everyone has to be proficient in every single art form. Both my Dad and my wife are great traditional artists, from charcoal, over acrylic to oil paintings. I can't do that. Finding one's own style is important, that's about all that matters. As long as you can create what you want to create, the how is not important.

My view about art. Art is very subjective. It means different things to different people.
For me art is about control and taking it to a level I haven't done before with the intent to expressing something. It is a constant learning and ever changing experience. I have done art all my life. I am a person that has many interests in many discipline. Art means to me doing it the best way I can and building to gain more superior control. This control can be in many forms, from expression to techincal aspects. I am not a person who does not i settles inferior control or weaker standards. I am a perfectionists in the goals I set forth to do. Art today for me is different then before I was a pro. We are ever evolving and art by the definition as I explained also changes. I believe it will continue to be this way.

ok people, on the net since writings can be interrupted in many ways esp when there is no expression to relate to people can miss understand your intent. So if that is the case,make sure to double check before it gets worst!
