I just came to your gallery from ehime's and after looking at your comments this is the only explaination that makes any sense of how DeviantArt functions. It's just that DeviantArt is a place for people with no talent to post their "art" which mainly consists of anime, furry artwork, or badly written poetry. When someone comes along with actual talent, the community does not know how to give constructive criticism because they have never performed at that level so they don't know how to comment other than with the annoying enough "cool!" or, for the more anime oriented nerds who try to be japanese and say the only 2 or 3 words that they know of the language, they will comment "SUGOI! OMG KAWAI DESU!" on anything that is rendered that slightly even resembles anime. Sorry it has to be that way. 
Also, if you are a friend of ehime's I'm sure your artwork would have definitly been worth checking out.

Ooh, sorry for the late reply. Its not often I check my own page out. I thought that Da would have let me know if I had a message here, guess not. I definately agree with what you have said. And yes Ehime's stuff is gone...tis sad. Fortunately for him though, when he popped into the scene, I was just browsing through new submissions and just something about his art caught my interest. Had you seen my art, you would know that it is way different than his. I'm glad though, that at the beginning of Ehime's stay here, he was recognized. I was so proud! But of course that interest seem to fade into an average amount of fan and then very few...guess he should have jumped on that anime yaoi stuff to keep the popularity

Oh no, I would never mean to insult you! I didn't want to do that whole crybaby thing a lot of 'leaving' artists do. They do a whole sob story in their journals...and I'd rather not be seen that way. I decided to make a long story short. I am still around looking and appreciating waht everyone's got to show...I just don't feel like subjecting my own art like this...if you under stand what I mean. I understand fully. I personally use Deviantart just so I don't have to carry around that heavy ass porfolio around. I feel as though you should just do you, and leave your art around for the few that do appericate it. Regardless, it's your decision ultimately & I support it, I'm not gonna twist your arm to do otherwise (besides, you're too cute for that). Your welcome too, I do mean that, you do good work

That is exactly what I think also. Deviantart seems to be the place to collect fans and popularity instead of good comments. People seem to do art to 'just make something' instead of quality work which time has been spent on. I'm still looking around at the art here, but I'm not posting anymore. I have school in a couple days here, so I'll not have a lot of time anymore anyways. Alright, well if I don't talk to you soon, best wishes to all you do!

i supose im telling this cos im very new in da
all of my drawings are old so that's small excuse why r not very good, although, i didnt work anything for almost 2 years, so im not any better now
i see that u have done "late night obssesion" with watercolour pencils, and it looks very nice! so, i have one question. how do u use them, i mean do u just put them into the water and then draw, or there is some other way? cos i tried, and it looked very blury, i couldnt draw any sharp line. so,please help me

Its actually mostly watercolors. And I used only the blue water color pencil to make those lines on the dress. Otherwise..I believe that the point of watercolor pencils is to be able to blend easily with watercolors? I really havn't gonie to school yet, so I wouldn't really know exactly how to use em....you can dip em in water if you'd like...I guess. o_0 Tell me how that works out by the way.
