I'd like to thank you for your work and effort. You visited my middle school a few years ago (Bonnie Branch) to show my class some of your work. I still have the ninja Stitches card I got back then, though it's in bad shape now, and would just like to say it's been my biggest inspiration for preparing to go into graphic design. when you sold you artworks to Hot Topic or any company...Do they still pay you for the re-production, distribution and selling merchandise they made?

When I was under contract I received royalties, but the contract is over and I am no longer getting anything.

It is worth doing that kind of contract, knowing that one day it will expire and they will continue to sell your stuff?

They don't have the rights to the series; it wasn't that kind of contract. They had the right to sell it for a brief period, and yes it was worth it.
They also sold shirts, patches and buttons.

I totally agree that the world needs more Magna Carta! I've been chatting laurentea's ...eyes off(?) about all the awesome MC/BaS/War of Genesis cosplay groups I'm hoping to do in 2012! Lol, I'm just a huge HTK fan and want to cosplay as many of his designs as possible.

Some of HTK's newer work is a little too sexual for me (I don't like big breasts. TT_TT), but it's still really good work.

I'd be up for doing something HTK related in NY 2012! (Not planning on going this year because I'm doing DragonCon.) We could plan for some Blade and Soul action there! And, if you two were up for it, either War of Genesis or another MC cosplay? (From Crimson Stigmata or Phantom of Avalanche.) Something that travels easily.
Maybe I'd have my Amila done by then. I'm hoping to do a MC:CS baddie group for next year. I want Amila to have all four of her 'generals'!
