Lets see, I will just explain the how I got into art or else this is gonna be huge. So when I was about 5 or 7 or some shit I started illustrating and writing my own stories on loose leaf paper. I still have these stories and most of them are about mortal kombat characters.I first got into art when I used to watch Toonami and Dragon Ball Z was on. I would then record it onto a Vcr Tape(remember those?) and pause the tape then free hand what I paused on the screen. I spent hours on this Vegetta drawing that I gave to my uncle as a present. So then I started reading Love Hina and Full Metal Panic Mangas which also got me more into anime art.
My single most favorite anime is Cowboy Bebop and I cant believe they dropped the movie idea for it. Keanu would of done good. Anyways, as of January I decided to cross over into oil painting which is a whole different ball park. I have bought some books on it and mostly taught myself. I'm going to have a 10 sketch schedule that I start today actually. Favorite artists: Monet,Van Gogh,Dali,Da Vinci,Titian,Francesco Hayez, Carravaggio, and some others.
I also have been playing acoustic bass and electric bass for about 2 and a 1/2 years. I can play by ear most songs now. I have a ton of books on philosophy and buddhism and honestly, the more philosophy you read the more confused you get, haha. Anyways, if your still reading this, thanks and I will post probably everyday now.
