# About me

I'm an artist and illustrator centred out of Vancouver, BC. I have a BFA with a major in Illustration from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. I specialize in illustration, comics, and storyboarding.

I have a wide array of artistic interests, from illustration to ceramics and printmaking, and enjoy learning everything I can. I strive to combine my interest in art with my love of storytelling.

I have two main projects going on right now:

Bullet; Red

The Critical Hit Show Comic Bullet; Red

The Critical Hit Show Comic is a comic adaptation of a long running fantasy improv comedy show that runs once every month here in Vancouver, BC. The creator of the show, Eric Fell, writes the comic, and I draw it for him. It is silly, geeky, and a lot of fun.

Bullet; Yellow

Sable & Aster - The Comic Bullet; Yellow

Sable & Aster is a personal project telling the story of a vengeful dragon and how her life changes when she encounters a scared and lonely human child living alone in the woods. They cultivate an incredibly close and unlikely friendship.

I'm well versed in Snopes lore; I've been watching their RSS feed for about three years now. It's always so fascinating, all the stuff that goes up there, and I'm sure my mum is annoyed with me constantly sending her Snopes links in regards to her forwarded chain e-mails. ;) (Wink)
