★ | it was a thursday night, the weekend was near and jason was doing the usual late night shift at the bar he works part-time at. it was quiet at this hour, save for the small amount of patrons seen inside. the activity usually varies during the week depending on hours. you could walk into a loud and busy place or a more relaxed atmosphere. tonight was more subdued, calm... like the lull before the storm.

★ | on typical thursdays, jason was required to work a little later than his usual hours, with his shift being mainly the weekdays and occasionally working the busy weekends. the part-time bartender gig was flexible enough to work around his other job as a freelance web designer, mainly doing those projects at home. and then he also hustles some cash through his love of street racing, much to the chagrin of his sister minnie. she was aware of his illegal moneymaking ways and the dangers of this hobby of his. yet he couldn't stop the fast-paced thrills, doing this shit ever since he was a teenager. you might say he's a pro street racer by this point. plus the chicks dig it.
★ | as well as working at this bar, he also performs here during those occasional weekend hours as a guitarist for a small time band made up of entirely his mates. now this wasn't anything serious for fame and money - they just played for the music, that's all. but it gave him a chance to shred his guitar up on stage like he was a badass motherfucker. and the best part was that people actually enjoyed their music. he'd often get questions like when he's gonna perform again which always brought a grin to his face.

★ | the bar counter was vacant, the row of stools empty as the few people about were seated in booths, enjoying their night cap. jason was just about done wiping the black marbled surface of the counter, emitting a tired sigh as he flung the white rag over his shoulder. he was seen in the usual attire of a dark shirt with the sleeves pushed up to the elbows and the first couple of buttons undone as he liked it, with black jeans. running a hand through his jet black hair, he felt like he needed a fucking drink right about now. fuck what the boss man said! he was tired, he was bored, and he wanted something to drink. so making sure no one was watching, he pulled a glass out and turned to the many colourful bottles of alcohol lined upon the shelf. he skipped the soju - a popular korean liquor - and went straight for the vodka. glancing to the side to check the coast was clear from the other staff members, he poured the contents and took the shot, instantly making a face. god, no matter how many times he took this shit, it always tasted bitter to him. but fuck it, he poured himself another shot. however, with his back to the counter, jae was unaware that by now there was a customer waiting to be served, catching sight of this sneaky act red-handed.

★ | despite that, this had nothing to do with boyfriends. in fact the girl dropped the biggest bombshell on him - she wanted him to meet her son. what?! she had a kid?! now that is insane. he had no idea she was a young mother with a baby. how come she never told him about it? because she was afraid of what he would think of her? nah... he's just surprised. but she so wanted axel to meet her baby son so how could he deny?
★ | the meet was at a nice little park where people played with their dogs and families out with their kids and children playing. it was a lovely sunny day and just perfect to be out, but odd for a particular rocker to be seen in. the warm sun's rays picked up on his bright copper hair as he approached the bench where nikita sat at, feeding her baby with a bottle. she hadn't even noticed he was here until he spoke up.

"I could never imagine you as a doting mom."
★ | he teases whilst looking down at her with somewhat a soft smile. he wore a casual plaid shirt and ripped jeans, hands stuffed in the front pockets while the breeze gently blew a few red wisps of hair.

this is so cute , forever going to be one of my favourite rps( i. ) → it had never occurred to her to even introduce him to her son, never even crossed her mind of simply telling axel about him. in fact, she had grown so use to never bringing it up that she kind of forgot. that was, until she went to make plans with him-only to realise 'oh shit, i have to take my fucking son with me'.
( ii. ) → nikita was hesitant to say the least, it wasn't that she didn't trust axel, far from it. she was just terrified of what he would say about the whole situation. even if she knew he was one of the last people to give her shit about it, the thought alone of having him look at her differently made her want to throw up. so many people had so much to say, especially when she had been pregnant. half the time she didn't give a fuck, threw out insults of her own, got aggressively hostile- but the other half of it hurt.
( iii. ) → and yet, telling him just felt right. it felt like a big weight off of her shoulders when she finally texted telling him she wanted him to meet someone- and besides, despite all of the anxiety, she genuinely wanted axel to meet her bundle of joy. wanted to share that chapter of her life with him.
( iv. ) → luckily, todays weather seemed perfect. as if all the signs were pointing at her, telling nikita this was the right thing to do. a dark yet floral sun dress adored her figure, hair pulled up into a bun with all of her baby hairs sticking out. and in her arms was a young little baby with tanned skin and a lot of hair. 
( v. ) → her attention was so fixated on the feeding baby that it gave her a bit of a fright when hearing the familiar voice- though that initial reaction turned into one of both excitement and nervousness. looking up, her lips curled into a smile, nose scrunching up gently as she did so." who would have thought, am i right ? ★ | his eyes flicked to nikita with a grin. i mean he didn't know what else to say since he was talking to a baby but that pretty much came out his mouth unexpectedly. nikita was a cool friend, and he enjoyed her presence, her company, hanging out and doing shit with her. and he's not gonna judge her over a kid or anything. he's not always an asshole.

★ | he playfully jests at the bright-eyed boy, his gentle smile not wavering the slightest. that was until nikita offered axel to hold him. he looked at her and his expression was clearly 'oh shit'. just note he was still letting the baby grasp onto his finger.

"Uhh... I'm not sure about that."
★ | he lets out a rather nervous little laugh as he averted his gaze for a second, tossing his fringe away from his eyes with a quick flick of the head.

"I've never held a baby in my life. Aren't you scared I'll drop him? Oh, wait, hold on a minute. You ain't gonna get me feeding a baby here. No way, man."
★ | he's just like shaking his head in denial. that's where he would hold up his hands in surrender if he could, backing out.
