Tools of the Trade: All different types, but mainly pencils: whether it be just plain or colored, and occasionally thin markers. Not really paints though although I'd love to try acrylic painting!
Other Interests: I like to write from here to there!

# About me

Hi everyone my name, if you don't already know, is Colin! And that's pronounced "Call-in" for those of you who didn't graduate middle school! Last time I checked I wasn't an anal cavity! Lol :P Sorry if I sound offensive but I'm just so sick and tired of people calling me Colon! Thanks a lot "COLON" Powell..stupid moron, it's thanks to him that people call me that. But now that he's out of office (thank god) people are actually calling me by my real name again!! :)

Anyway so about me

Games:
If you've looked at my gallery you can obviously tell that I love the Kingdom Hearts series! It's my all time favorite video game series! I love other video game series as well such as Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Jak and Daxter, etc. I'm mainly an action/ adventure/ platformer/ 3rd person shooter- with a little RPG thrown in here and there once in a while Type of gamer.

Superheroes:
I am a huge fan of superheroes, especially: The Flash!! The Flash has been and always will be my favorite super hero of all time! Barry Allen has got to be my favorite flash by far and then Wally West after that! I'm not a huge fan of Bart (kid flash/impulse) or Jay (the original flash with the silver hat). But I think the reason I like the flash so much is because I relate to him more than I do to any other super hero. I especially love to run! And actually in one of the movies "Flashpoint Paradox" Barry at one point has a seizure and I have had seizures since I was 13. There are just so many things that I feel connect me to The Flash which is why I like him the best! I'm definitely a DC fan boy though that's for sure...but I do like a lot of Marvel heroes as well.

Art:
I obviously love art, otherwise I wouldn't be on here ;) I love basically all types of art except those that post pictures of themselves nude just to get faves. I'm not a fan of those unless they have some type of class to them unlike a lot of pics you can tell aren't trying to be art but just trying to show off they're body, which doesn't interest me at all.

How I find inspiration:
I find inspiration all over the place! I literally keep my eyes and mind wide open and if I see anything that catches that unique side in my brain, I make sure to write it down so I don't forget about it later on if I want to use it for something like a story, poem, drawing or even a song. I mean I pay attention to the simplest details such as flickering lamp posts, strange looking clouds, how the water flows in lakes and I especially love the rain!! The rain gives me huge inspiration!

Friends and Hardships:
Growing up, I had and still do have "some" good friends but most of my older friends have just "changed" should I say and it's hard for me to see them in a different light than how I remember them. But luckily now I have started to gain some new friends that I talk to almost every day at work unless we aren't working that day and if we aren't, we still keep in touch on FB whenever we get the chance! I feel really blessed to get to know all of my new friends...especially one who just asked me to be one of his groomsmen at his wedding coming up later this year (2014) with only knowing him for a few months or so! I was completely surprised!!

I'm basically a loner, I never really fit into any of the major cliques or smaller ones either while in school. I'm a pretty smart guy and graduated middle school at like #1 or 2 in my class and then graduated HS with about a 3.5 GPA. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to college do to money issues and due to having to move so much, but I'm okay with that. But the hardest thing that's happened to me occurred in August of 2013. I unfortunately lost my father and it was really hard on me because I was the only one of my siblings who was with him for my entire life. I'll spare you the full detail, but I know that he's still here with me and the rest of my family looking after us (no doubt making fun of us too :P ) and telling us that we need to keep pushing forward and telling us to live "NO DAY BUT TODAY"!

And yep; I've changed a bit here and there too lol! But mostly hopefully for the better...at least I believe I have! ;) (Wink) life has throw it's curve balls towards me, but I always try and look towards the brighter sides of it...especially with all of these amazing people I am surrounded by in my life! One of my new friends at work actually asked me to be one of his groomsmen at his wedding in October!! :D (Big Grin) so yeah I'm really happy about that!!

Most of the time things turn out out for the best in life if you really look forward to it, so that's how I do! :) (Smile)

It's been hard for me to draw anything recently due to only having basic phone access here at my house, but comments like this really help to inspire me to keep working at my skills and talents and bring my spirits up!!!
