# About me

I'm silly.

I'm a mad 26-year-old alum of the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.

I graduated in the spring of 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fiber, concentrating in Experimental Fashion. I enjoy all things fantastic and intend to become a costume designer for film. Currently, I'm developing product ideas that revolve around my concept of ‘everyday costume’ - pieces that together constitute a Renaissance outfit, for example, but may be worn as separates on a daily basis. I work from an illustrated concept that I use to help me design and make flat patterns for each garment, which I then construct piece-by-piece.

My influences are predominately Victorian, with a serious obsession with Alice in Wonderland and the macabre, and extend to literature, numerous subcultures, and many films and video-games. I spend most of my time sewing or knitting ferociously, and reading in much the same manner.

Current Residence: Second to the right, and straight on 'till morning. (Maryland)
