thanks!Β could you clarify by what you mean as "rough"?Β i realise i don't do a lot of finished pieces any more.Β i've kind have gotten out of the habit of drawing, but i plan to start doing more completely polished pieces!
and yeah, my work tends to be very emotional... it's always been a healthy way to deal with my feelings, which are very intense (i mostly have depression, and suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder because of a lot of traumatic experiences i have gone through.)Β i've also been struggling with an addiction to drugs for eight years, so that's, obviously, a very emotional experience and is a frequent theme in my artwork...

Not at all, it's nice to hear back. Sounds like you have some tough issues to deal with, but it's better to talk than not talk I guess.
By "rough" I was only partly talking about the unfinished feel to many of the pieces, such as "and we won't be found" having a beautiful and powerful foreground but simple background that in some way makes the whole piece feel a bit lessened, or "halo wolf" having that noticeably big empty space; but also there's the roughness of the emotions. I mentioned your gallery being emotional as a good thing of course, an artist is better if they can show strong emotion with a piece, but the emotions being portrayed are mostly in what I might call the βroughβ category, which can probably be attributed to those aforementioned issues. I can't really empathize but I do sympathize.
