Your writing is excellent--it's impossible not to fave! And how could I not be supportive? You're doing much more than you realize for CFS awareness. I deeply admire your commitment to your cause and your perserverance through your illness.

I can sleep when I'm dead. (It would appear that that's the only time homework will not affect me.)

Haha.
What was it Ashley (I think) was saything the other day? Something along the lines of saying this on a college application: "You may not accept me, but I know hell always will!"
Make of it what you will XD

If you want a law degree, I hear hell is the place to go. No institution cares more about the fine print.

Konayashi In reply to thrice-cursed [2006-01-31 05:40:43 +0000 UTC]
On the contrary, I don't think they have much fine print. Wouldn't need it. After all, once you're at the place with the contracts, there's not a lot of chips to bargain with on your end.

thrice-cursed In reply to Konayashi [2006-01-31 05:58:10 +0000 UTC]
Oh, but there are always people trying to weasel their way out after they sell their soul. Someone has to play Devil's Advocate and make sure they don't escape through a loophole, I'd imagine.
But yes, few chips indeed.

Konayashi In reply to thrice-cursed [2006-01-31 23:23:51 +0000 UTC]
Well, they've had... decades (lol), at least, to work out loopholes. Besides, do they really care down there what happens AFTER the soul's been signed over and whatnot? I wouldn't, quite frankly. And that's why we have zombies. Because hell needs better lawyers O.o;;

thrice-cursed In reply to Konayashi [2006-02-05 06:45:46 +0000 UTC]
That would make a great Harvard Law application essay, wouldn't it? "I want to be a lawyer so I can help rid the world of zombies!"

Adventurers have it ALL wrong, picking brawn over brains. Sure, in the short run the problem is solved, but once someone tries to outsmart hell... That's when you call a lawyer in.

Token party wizard: Tries to outsmart hell.
Token party fighter: Kills ensuing hordes of lawyers and quabbles over allotted XP.

Ah, I see now! Dungeons and Dragons is just training to become a lawyer. Or wait... An anti-lawyer. Or... something in between >_<
It kind of depends if you realize the error of your monster-attacking ways and switch then to the use of knowledge to defeat your foes, or weither you enjoy battling a lot. I guess.

This is practically a commercial for D&D now XD

Ultraconservatives who fear the law, maybe?
THAT'S why neocons hate D&D! They don't want their kids to be lawyers!
