I bought this camera from Natasha about 6 weeks ago. So far just have the basic 18-55mm that comes with it. It is not bad. I recently sold my old Nikon F (the original one) with many of great lenses, so I need to start over. I will probably get the next focal range af-s zoom fairly soon. I think I'll stay with Nikkor lenses.. Are you enjoying it? You are getting great results.

Hi Leon,

Now this is funny, I have an original Nikon F myself (I got it for being the best man at a Chinese wedding). I have the 18-55mm, 55-200mm, 12-24mm wide angle, and a straight 24mm. The 55-200mm is pretty good, but I may get a 70-300mm for wildlife in the near future. I am enjoying the camera very much, I picked up a Coolpix 5100 to leave in my truck (so if someone steals it I don't loose too much). All my lenses are Nikon and I will stick with them as I like them a lot. I read that you are a composer of music is there a place I can listen to some of your work, I would like that if possible. I am glad you like my gallery, I only recently started into painting full time and I have so much room to grow, but I am not compromising the quality of my work to get established, either people buy into my style or not but I am having fun with it.

Your music is wonderful, so beautiful and uplifting. I have loved music in the past so much, but recently I can't listen to what I used to as it brings back to many painful thoughts, your's is so new and fresh to me that I really enjoyed it, and even painted with it on in the background. Do you have anything for sale at all?

Thank you so much for this incredibly kind message. I am so pleased that you are enjoying my work. To be able to paint with mu music on is a huge complement.

I do not have much right now in terms of commercially available cd's, etc. I do have a piece on a new CD by my pianist partner , Susanne Kessel which is a beautiful album. There is a link to that on our site on [link]

Otherwise, I can send you a cd compilation when I return in a couple of weeks. We can discuss what the postage would cost, etc.

My pleasure Leon, having the music around me really cheers me up, and allows my focus to be precise. I have bookmarked both links and will listen to them on Monday. Tomorrow I am out for the day with my camera for a day of gathering reference materials.

Yes! Sound files would be super. This is such a big topic, of course. The representation of sound art/sound artists on the web and in galleries. It would be very interesting to speak more about this .
