what movie was it? i haven't been very creative last week due all the studying i had to do for university... i so wanna do a photoshoot again! but everything's put on hold until after wednesday. exams are so awful...

ah right, yeah. they are to be honest yes. although my photography/graphic design exams i did a few months back were quite relaxed and leisurely - those exams being the only exception.

- can't give much away but it is yet another self portrait, its being done in photoshop for lack of other programs (aint got GIMP yet), its basically my own personal stylised interpretation of that film's (that i've just noted you about) graphics. I've thought a lot about how the graphics in that film link in to its plot and the messages the film convey, and i just had this creative burst of energy - that i really wanted to do my own style graphic. richard linklate (dir. of scanner darkly) made it by the way.. yes yes thats all im gonna say until i submit it.

it will be simple, but as with most of my work a hell of a lotta thought goes into the process and execution.

No um sixth-form college? its just before university - excuse my ignorance im not sure what the equivalent term is in germany. Far from it ha ha. but it does the job.

there really is no equivalent to it in germany. you go to school for 13 years, you go to university. nothing in between but are you going to study something connected to art when you're done with 6th-form college? i always wanted to, but now i study law but it really isn't THAT bad...

oh ok i'm enlightened. Yes yes definitely i've just started looking at universities around england, im looking to do primarily photography with a significant minority of graphic design thrown in there - to help broaden job prospects etc. I don't mind being a starving artist considering the bigger picture of Life but i do like graphic design in any case as you can see; so might as well carry that on. aaa! law scares me shitless, i know next to nothing about it but the name just suggests many essays and reading and exams. But then again that Is just my assumption, tis not based on knowledge. ha ha

law IS basically only reading, essays and exams but i don't mind that. german law is much easier than english law, though. i took english law last semester and it was the hardest course. but it was quite interesting, so i applied for a special 6 semester course in uk law and got a place which means that by the end of it i'll get a certificate that allows me to able to practice law not only in germany, but in the uk, too.
but it's so cool that you will take photography/graphic design in university! i would have done that, too, but i developed the interest in it only last fall when i had already signed up for law also, i WOULD mind being a starving artist i still have the hope to publish a book i'm writing right now, though, so if it's gonna be a bestseller, i can stop studying law
