I'm not a graduate yet, im about to become a third year, we got shown loads of three minute films and yours was one of them, it was really good!!

ahhhh ok.we graduated in 2004.If you mean bob the little monster then thats not my character it's Talib's.Mine was the stop-mo ,sheep-haircut one.We were in the same year but we are now enagaged and set up business together.No we didn't set up straight after uni.We got experience in the industry first -glad we did.
How's the course now? It was pants when we were there.what you doing for your 3 minute film?

Yeah i'd heard about John and Greg-both where exceptionally good at animation, I just don't think teaching at university level was for them.They were NEVER around when we needed help.Don't feel too bad -you should expect good teachers-heck you are at uni. Everything we learnt was either thru Talib or a book.
I'd like to see your film when you are done.No we haven't had chance-busy in the studio and we get married in 6 weeks so with both things havent had chance.Hoping to go to the 10th anniversary animex next feb.

yeah its strange they couldn't translate what they knew onto students. Theres still the struggle of time with the tutors we have now, but theres so many of us! i reckon i'm going to do a course on model making for media after this but i'm unsure yet eep!

the course is good.. we've got new tutors now as john passed away, and greg left soon after
the tutors we have now are brill, but i always feel a twinge of guilt for john when i say how good they are...
my 3 min is based on a true story about a little swan that falls in love with a swan shaped pedalo
i checked out your site, its so nice to see that people are successful after leaving uni! it gives hope!
