Hey Vithya, long time no hear! XD

Yea I guess I am better now - I passed my uni-exams so that's a thing worth feeling good about. Other than that, there really isn't much news to report, I still write music but I haven't been too productive compared to a year ago. It's all going way slower now. And throughout June I've been busy with studying most of the time (; And I'm kind of in a 'crisis' at the moment when it comes to art of any kind: I want to draw more again, but I'm not entirely sure about what, I want to write more poems and maybe some stories but that's going to take a lot of time and I also want to compose more music which will take even more time. So in a way, I want to do too much and I can't choose what to do first :/

Also, for the first time in nearly 15 years I am not going anywhere this summer, I am just staying in Belgium. My brother is on a tour of the USA, though, he's in NY at the moment and he'll continue to San Fransisco, then to LA, Vegas, back to LA, to Tijuana in Mexico too. So he's doing a very grand trip. I kind of wanted to go somewhere too, like Iceland , but it just didn't materialize into an actual plan. Oh well, maybe this winter, that would be so epic!

I have almost finished a new album (which will be the 3rd and most likely the last for a long time to come) and in September, I am returning to university myself.

And I am going to Munich and NY this summer, barring accidents.. I hope that will be great, especially Munich..

So I guess everything's kind of okay around here. (;

I was in Munich last sept! Well...not for long lol. NY will be great That's pretty exciting. I wish I was going somewhere ahahaha.

I'm taking a year off before I decide of professional school...so in the meantime I will be working >.<

Yes, 3 .. The recordings should normally begin soon.. Atm we're doing tests with the equipment and finding the right sound for everything.. Well, I write "we", but it's "me" that does most of that anyway


Oh you've been to Munich? What was it like? I've been told it's a very nice city with lots of green even more than Berlin, apparently, and Berlin has LOTS of green.. You have been to NY too? To me, it sounds kind of artificial.. no offense .. But I guess I'll see for myself..

Do you already know what kind of work you'll be doing during your year off?

Munich is very green! I wasn't there for long. No, I've only been in the NY airport lololol! I'm excited for your trip to NY. Iy will be a different experience for sure
I'll be working at the hospital (doing this program for med students) where I go one rounds with doctors and while they are interacting with patients, I'm recording everything in the patient's charts. And it will be in the ER so I'll have to be on call with the doctors I'm assigned too. Should be an interesting experience.

So you'll be some kind of nurse, then? Sounds pretty interesting indeed..
Although personally, I wouldn't really want to work in a hospital, I sort of have hospital-fear .. No, really.. I once had a kind of 'traumatizing' experience in a hospital and since then, I don't know.. I guess I simply don't like the whole hospital-atmosphere

You'll be doing this work at a hospital in Oregon? Well, Oregon is big..

Oh, we'll also be recording the third Malpertuus album soon here, or so I hope! I need one more lyric and it's all done!

And next week, I am going for a week (well, 5 days) to the Ardennes, in southern Belgium, the nature is really beautiful there.. It should be a 'find-inner-peace'-week.. Do you know the Ardennes? You know, from the 'Ardennes-offensive' in 1944 .. But I'm not going to see any war-stuff, I've already seen that (;

That's good about green Munich .. Many cities definitely need more green (and less filth)!
Yea, NY! I kind of don't know what to expect; there's that "standard US-image" of Mc Donald's and yellow taxis everywhere, and skyscrapers towering over everything else.. And at night, gangzz and drugzzz .. Well, I guess NY has many faces, we'll see!
