My Valentine's day was alright, a friend came over and we made cakes in mugs and did arty things. My parents freaked at first when they realised I had someone over xD calmed down preeetty quickly

Monster rancher... it's kinda like pokemon buttt with monsters, but you choose your monster by inserting dvds or game discs you have at home and it revives a monster and you train it and enter tournaments and you raise it and meet people and battle andddd i dunno how to explain it XD it's just fun to me taking care of my monster and going through thick and thin to become the awesomest >u<

Haha, my parents made me play a lot of educational games because they were worried my brain wasn't going to be developed (I was born three months earlier :S) so I didn't have time to play proper games either. Luckily, I was fine, but missed out on a gaming childhood xD (granted, I think I spent most of my time climbing trees xD)
Yeah, gaming's definitely easier now!

You've gotta give zelda a go. It's pretty awesome. Better than mario, imo. The world and story's more richly imagined, and I'm always a sucker for that kind of thing

Oh, I did - I had a lot of catching up to do, so I think the addiction hit me harder than most
The educational games weren't too bad. But there was no fighting! Boooriiiing xD
Hmm. You can probably download an emulator and get an early one for free, but for the more recent ones it depends which consoles you have :3

Haha, sort of, but more kiddie-ish. It was sort of... Zoombinis? They were these weird creatures that looked like eggplants and you had to help them solve puzzles and things. They were really weird xD
And not really xD I just had a massive nostalgia kick about a year or so a go and played a whole load of old games, and my friends taught me how :3

But Zelda-wise, the most loved game overall is probably.... The Ocarina of Time? So maybe you should start with that if you wanna start playing Zelda :3
