Description Long time no see, ey? ...yes, I've been very busy lately, plus I have some serious Vue 8.1/nvidia driver issues, so it's hard to finish a scene....
And again, just like after rendering my previous Kingdom of the Little Princess, I had the same issue with the exposure getting too high after rendering, so it was hard to adjust the settings to make the lighting realistic enough for such a scene.
For the rocks (HyperTerrains) I used =nukeation 's Mineral Infinity material, a great pack you can purchase at C3D.

Vue 8.1 Infinite, minor postwork in PS CS4

I agree on the foreground plants - the DoF gives them an excellent touch of realism. The rock formations look great as always

Awesome work once again. Sucks that your computer and Vue are not getting along!! I get that issue a lot. Can't wait till Vue makes a 64bit version for Mac!!

While I am playing with something rather soft... I just wanted to let you know, if you go to "my account" on the e-onsoftware website.. you can request the 64bit beta for mac free of charge

Thx. I was talking to one of their representatives and she told me that they are still testing it. I think I will let them test it for now. I will give it a few more months then do it. Thx for the info tho.

Wow! Breathtaking!
This landscape is really awesome, look like photorealistic!
The vegetations and the textures are very detailed, in very high resolution, the subtle blurry depth of field effect is well perfectly applied, and the water (in the river) is, again, very realistic!
It's sure, this render should need a very high-end CPU (for the 3D rendering) and graphic card (for handling these ultra high resolutions textures in Vue 8.1 Infinite)...

Amazing! Wow!~

The blueish rocks look cool, I really am drawn to those plants in the foreground, although blurred - they look incredibly real the feild of palm trees on the left is nice too

Once again - superb work! You've shown that you can ace these scenes time and time again!

Stunning lighting - and the vegetation has never been more realistic! (are you using different trees to normal or different colour settings?)

The subtle DOF is great - taking the focus off the foreground plants which are normally the ones that give it away that it's as a 3D image.

The only problem I have is that I'm wanting to tilt my head to the right to look at it but then the only thing that looks vertical is then poking to the left. I feel I'm slipping down hill to the right.

Have you thought of sharing your methods in the Cornucopia 3D site like Quadspinner does? I'm sure it'd be well worth your while - a veritable best seller in the making!!!

I'm very certain I'd not be the only one purchasing it!
