I am soooooo proud of this dolly! I can't remember how I found the picture of the original, but it was so gorgeous I had to have a go myself. She took nearly 4 hours to do :SNot a DHF base
I know, shock! I think it was 'The Edge v Botticelli' but I'm not positive so if someone can correct me I'd be very much obliged.PS: Here's the link to the original picture [link]

I simply love the white lace (?), as well as her wings. Not to mention the over-all palette is very well chosen!

What really caught my eye on this was the subtle wings in the background, there and visible but ghostly.

But dAs backround colour? This light grey I mean. Or make it transparent? Try making a darker outline around the clothes, hair, wings etc?

The dress is beautiful and detailed and feathers look really convincing. But the white cloth around her shoulders should have been shaded maybe a bit less drastically? Maybe it would also look better on light backround.

^^ I agree the shading for the top half looked weird, but i just didn't argue with the reference picture! The lighter background would be pretty easy to change though ^^ just i wouldn't know what colour - i can't have white because otherwise the detail at the hem of the dress doesn't show! ^^ I wish I could make these bigger, but unfortunately it's really hard keeping the shading as effective when they're bigger on MS paint, because then you get huge areas of one colour and it doesn't blend. Perhaps if i get photoshop i'll be able to make bigger ones
