I love how much character the robot has simply in how it's posed in the scene, interacts with the environment, and smaller details.
Like how it has one leg elevated on top of a boulder while the other is lower to the ground, which gives it a bit more of a dynamic pose, even if it's small. Then how it's positioned directly over this human, its own shadow covering them to the point this human needs to use a flashlight to see what they're looking at.Β Finally, I freakin' love the little detail of this robot having (what appears to be) guardrails on top of it, which implies that this human actually rides on top of the robot or at least uses it as a means of elevation for better views their surroundings.

I like how the pilot is looking for something, and the mech seems to be looking at its pilot. Even the eye of the mech matches well to the flashlight of the pilot.
But what are they looking for?

I like how both the robot and his rider are crouching in similar poses. The robot looks like he is on a leash and is holding it with one of its hands. Very nice.
