Hmm...turned out to be the final version after all...For the GB contest
Originally the concept sketch type version, but looks like the actual entry due to being the only option
Basically, the proper one is sitting on my comp, lineart and flat colours, but for some reason shading absolutely fails me atm...after about eight starts, I've given up...for the moment anyhow...probably to do with my sleep cycle being horribly askew (more than usual)About the actual pic...five favourite-ish TT villains GB'ed: Rancid, Blackfire, Trigon, Jinx an' Slade... Three tone colouring *groan* with nasty lineart...woulda added Red X, Mad Mod and Control Freak, but wanted to do five and have a reasonable guy/girl balance...costume changes where necessary (Trigon), or where I felt like it...
Annoyed about my sudden (increased) lack of shading ability though, the other version was/is much better, plus took a good bit of time...
Currently too creatively stymied to thin of nice gender suitable names...

I like the way Slade, Trigon, and that one freak whose name escapes me came out, but as far as Blackfire, he still looks like a woman, or at least poorly proportioned, no offense meant by that. As far as Jinx, or Hex as most call the sorcoress' male counterpart, he looks like he's thinking, "Maybe i should hav egrown a beard."

I've noticed that a lot in this contest, it's really hard to make most females into decent looking male counterparts, while it's easy to do the opposite. As evidenced here by Trigon and Slade. I mean look at Jinx, she's got pink hair! How do you make that into a masculine quality?
