Description
So, again a picture for my project with . The two characters don't have a name yet, the human is one of the protagonists while the cat is a slave he rescued and later became the dearest person he had, and vice versa. Not sure the scene is 100% canon, but I had the urge to draw something "cute & gruesome"
Since I have some problem with drawing recently I'm glad I managed to complete this, it could be better but it's not that bad
The only things that bother me are the grainy look and the changed colors caused by the camera and some distorted line (like the bedrail ornament) due to the slightly folded paper. Enjoy! ^^I don't think this need Mature Content, it's just a little blood and she's being taken care of, anyways tell me what you think. Also, any suggestion or critique is more than welcome!

Wanna know why I hate human-anthro cross-over universes so much? This is why: there is always slavery of one of the species, and they "somehow" seem to only be the anthros. As if humanoid animals, with animal traits like knife-sharp teeth and nails, were somehow much weaker than humans.

The problem is that the anthros' "built in" tools don't get better and humans, not HAVING them in the first place, is obliged to make artificial ones that will quickly surpass the effectiveness of the tools nature gave the anthro races. Yes, right up until that universe's equivalent of an Iron Age the anthros are all but guaranteed to kick our hairless monkey butts all over the place.
But after that...all bets are off unless the anthros catch on and build equally effective arms/armor/etc. for themselves. The sharpest claws in the world don't do much against a metal shield, and the keenest reflexes won't be able to save you from a crossbow bolt or arrow that comes sizzling through the air like greased lightning.

Well, in my defense one of the two anthro races in my setting (the cats) are indeed weaker than humans, and they are also quite small in size. The other one, the lizards, don't have nowhere as many problems exactly for the reasons you said, they are huge, strong and with sharp teeth and claws. No one would ever try to enslave them or wage war against them.

We chose to let it pretty ambiguous and open to interpretation, for now at least. No one really knows if they are "just friends" or if they took one more step. ^^

We didn't work much on it for now, it's set in a fertile region surrounded by the desert from one side and the sea from the other. Humans conquered this zone centuries ago and subdued the other two races, cats and lizards, that now live as pariahs or slaves.
And of course we have the usual group of "adventurers" who will get in any kind of trouble...
