"Don't you just hate when stray cats scratch their fleas off right in front of your door?"This character has now a name, by the way!
Her name is Shadi, she's one of the main characters of my project with About the picture, this is a totally new experiment I made only with color and without inking. I basically mixed white tempera color with watercolor to obtain a lot of different tonalities, and then I painted over a pencil sketch.Β I made some anatomical mistakes because it's incredibly hard but I'm SO happy with the result!
Β It took me days to color it though...I'd really like to hear your opinion, and if you have any suggestion or critique they are more than welcome ^^

Really nicely colored, shaded, and shadowed!Β I mean this on both the background and the character herself.Β You mentioned anatomical problems...Β The few I found are minor and do not affect the overall effect of the picture at all.Β Good job!

This is really awesome ^^ The shading and the textures on both Shadi and the environment are fantastic! I think your color experiment turned out pretty good, especially for not using lines. I have attempted coloring over sketches like that before, and it is crazy hard haha. Definitely something beyond my skill XD Only thing really wrong here is some weird anatomy stuff, but I'm sure you already know where those are

She's the worse you can find, a walking flea basket 
Hawk found the name, I think it should be pronounced with a long, open "a" (like in "Car" ), so something like "Shaa dee".Β The name's Persian though, so I don't know either. ^^ Thank you once again!

I really love this new coloring style! Very soft~~ ( but I love your usual style perhaps more personally cos it has a certain 'rougher look' to it that I love) The shading work is especially awesome on the tile wall and the rocks on the ground Β and the character's clothing folds and shading are wonderful too.

Good as ever! Seriously, if you get dynamic and used to painting like this you could actually completely skip the inking process and get results that look equally as good, or perhaps more subtle even.
