Great contrast with the colors, Dull V.S hot pink.
But I really liked how you made him growl at a butterfly to show that he hates everyone.
The butterfly has a nice design to it, that really long bit whatever it happens to be.
I myself don't really like the background,
it's a bit too dull for me and it kinda makes him look like he's gonna tip over or something...
But it's problably just me. <:/

contrast is a great thing. yes.
I am not so font of the background either. I tried to do something gray but I just did not feel creative enough at the moment. If I darken it, it might do the trick.

I was once bashed by a butterfly in the face. it was fucking huge and it was almost gliding not fluttering. it was black and gross and had long string like thing on it.
after that I started to hate butterflies but just someday butterflies started to look mysterious, so feminine with no reason. so I guess because of my child memory I decided to put thread on it. I like your word of choice for the butterflies.

god I wish I could animate. I have seen many animaters around here, and some of them are fantastic.
fucking butterflies....they flap so fast sometimes that gives me the creeps. bees flap even faster but at least their wings get blurred out dammit.

Yeah, I like zombies, my rather cute gallery gives off a sterotype about myself though.
It's not possible to like both cute and creepy things.
I'm accually working on a comic, which will feature zombified caricatures of various friends here and there.
Not just zombies, but gore too, something that really came out in my earier Wiggers & Wapanese comics. 
And hey, the butterfly could be carring some anti-zombie pollens or something.

the guy is big but the butterfly is so small
the guy is very grey and gloomy but the butterfly is HOT pink
as for a little tiny butterfly I think it really stands out in the picture

the butterfly looks so free and pure
while the guy looks like he's pissed off at something
harhar little things always have big meanings
it's like when people say little kids have big heart and honesty
other than that I luv the guy's face expressoin
and also all the detail on his clothing..........nice wrinkles

yeah I definitly tried to represent contrast with the use of color between the zombie and the butterfly
I like how big things are usualy so well hidden into much smaller thing so we cannot really find it. just like truth hidden deep down somewhere maybe cold and dark. it just makes the world more wonderous and make me curious.
what about the butterfly? too pretty?
