I've been swamped with work lately and really haven't found the time or energy to work on my illustrations - except today, that is. Normally I work 7 days a week (hello, freelance), but I found some free time today. Here's how I spent my afternoon. Well, this and DOTA with my boyfriend and 2 sisters. I swear, I don't have enough time or energy for all these things D:

I'm generally pleased with how it came out, though I'm aware that after a few days, it'll start to look wonky to me (as did my previous works). It started out as quite a different concept, but as is the case with a lot of my works, it took on a character of its own in the middle of it. And voila, my second redhead mermaid/siren lady. Yes, I have a thing for red hair. Critiques welcome, thank you for dropping by
