Description I am very sad that most people dont recognize this icon from Sci-fi genre .
To take a spinner for megas , was terrible .
Its like few people here watched Blade Runner at the theater in 1982 like me , ha ha .

Anyway , I did this painting to homage this great Riddley Scott movie.
And btw , this is a scene from the end of the movie .
If you dont know it ? Go watch it NOW .

This image is the first one to carry my blog adress .
It will be on all my images from now on .

Beautiful... Love this film...
It really captures the cyberpunk-ness of Ridley Scott...

I was expecting Gaff to say

"Crockett, Tubs, My Office !"

As Gaff would say

"You've done a Man's job Sir !"

(I wonder if this was Gaff's way of telling Dekard
"I know you're a goddam Replicant)

If Deckard was a Replicant, the only way I'd accept that is if he was in fact Gaff's Replicant. As in, Gaff's the Blade Runner they gave Deckard the memories of.

Admiral William "Husker" Adama

Could spot a "Skin Job" from

Congratulations. My boyfriend is a huge fan of BR, he saw the movie in 1982 at least 8 times, them he went later to see the other releases. He knows the speech of every part of the movie it is scary believe me to see Blade Runner with him, you can turn the volume down hear him do the talks

cool, Blade Runner was my first and only guess in this (I don't know too much about sci fi movies, but I like them a lot) In fact, the song of the movie started to play in my head in the moment I saw the drawing, ha ha.
Is too damn good, congratulations. I fell in love with the rain effect

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArteDigitalSA In reply to pdi-vortex [2012-02-13 21:08:31 +0000 UTC]

estoy coloreado otro dibujo +, y me gustan los detalles. Si llego lejos, sera cuando deba ser. No creo q te corresponda juzgar mi estilo

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

pdi-vortex In reply to ArteDigitalSA [2012-02-14 12:59:45 +0000 UTC]

Was the year I was born so unfortunately I didn't see it in theaters at the time heh -- tho I certainly loved it when I finally did see it. Great work with the atmosphere on this btw -- specially the 'wetwork' and the way the ground looks.

Blade Runner is awesome. It's actually sad that at a convention our table has run a scavenger hunt and I put "Something cyberpunk" as one of the things they needed to find a pic of.... And I had people asking me what cyberpunk was.........

Sad.

But this is an awesome pic, and far from sad ^__^ It is in fact quite awesome.

I got to see Blade Runner at a local film festival on the big screen.

It. Was. Amazing. The city's ambiance is still one of the greatest things in film history. The music, the lights, so familiar and yet so alien.
