The Centurions: animation's first foray into the STEM fields.

The power may be extreme but it pales in comparison to PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER!!!!!!

Awesome, it really was a great show. I wish they'd make a good movie either to go out with a bang or to reboot the series with modern day animation. It would be soo cool.
Today we really do have two cartoon series that are living up to its (I'd like to say predecessors but it just doesn't cut it.) ancestors, namely: Transformers Prime and Young Justice. Check them out too.
But still the Centurions were great. You did a great job.

And suddenly I'm remembering a pitched battle around, under and inside the base of an Orbital Tether/Space Elevator... Take that Gundam. The Centurions beat you to it by more than 30 years...

This is a great!!! and I really wish that they still did shows like these. I've been watching the eighties nonstop since I downloaded my favorite show from when I was a kid M.A.S.K. Centurions beat any show that is on the air now to a pulp!

80s cartoons are great fodder for movies. GI Joe, Transformers...surely someone's thought of the Centurions.

I love the Centurions. My favorite character was always Jake Rockwell, and favorite armor was Wild Weasel.
I am glad that Boomerang still has this cartoon available, right before another childhood favorite of mine, SWAT Kats.

Dude I use to watch this show all the time. Ace McCloud was my favorite. When I was in 1st Grade I yelled Power Extreme just as school was ending and everyone was like '...wtf?'

God I love this show. There are no cartoons like this around any more.
Also you win even more for drawing Ace "the man" McCloud

A new CGI series for these guys would be golden!
Is it just me, or did McCloud almost always use Skyknight whenever he went into battle?

Taken from lil formers.com
"Centurions was one of my fav shows in the 80s. I still love this opening. Bill Woodson narration(from Superfriends), plus Jack Kirby & Gil Kane designs(heard of them?), plus Sunrise animation(Gundam) equals AWESOME SAUCE."
